The DTU LEET is also referred to as the Delhi Technological University lateral entry entrance test. This is a test that is conducted by the Delhi Technological University and it is for those candidates who are eligible to apply for the B.Tech degree in the field of Engineering. DTU LEET 2023 offers admission to the DTU in the Direct Second year of the degree courses. DTU will release the Application Form on the official website. DTU LEET 2023 Application Form:

If you are interested to get some important information about the application form, you can go through the steps given below:

  • The candidates will have to fill in the application form online on the official website of the university.
  • The applicants are advised to submit this application form within the specified time.
  • The candidate also has the option of filling up the form offline and then send the form by the date that is fixed by the university.
  • It is very important to fill up the application form carefully.
  • Apart from the form, the candidates will also have to send the signature and the photograph.
  • The candidates will have to fill up the application form carefully along with the necessary documents and the application fee.

Application Fee:

The Application fees of Rs.1000 for GEN/OBC and Rs.500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The Application fee can be submitted online mode via credit card, debit card, net banking.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicants who have completed 3 years of credential courses in the field of Engineering from a recognized board or university will be eligible to apply for the examination.
  • The candidates will have to get at least 60 marks for the qualifying test and if the candidate belongs to the reserved category, then he or she will have to get a minimum of 50% marks in order to qualify for the entrance test.
  • The candidates will have to be more than 18 years in order to apply for the entrance test.
  • The age of candidates cannot be more than 26 years.
  • If the candidate has a domicile certificate in Delhi, then he or she is eligible to apply for the entrance test.

Exam Pattern:

  • The candidates will get a total of 2 hours to solve the paper.
  • The entrance test is always conducted online
  • For each correct answer, the candidate will get 4 marks
  • There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each question for incorrect answers.

Mathematics:

Conditional convergence, Alternating series, Tests for convergence of series (ratio, root, Raabe’s, comparison, exponent, integral), Radius of curvature, Calculus of one variable, Taylor’s & Maclaurin’s expansion.

Physics:

Relativity, physicist – chemist experiment and its implications, Review of ideas of frames of reference and Galilean transformation equation, Einstein’s special theory of Einstein’s theory of relativity, Law of the addition of velocities, physicist transformation equations, Mass-energy relation, Mass variation with speed, The conception of energy and momentum, Physical optics- Multiple beam interference and Fabray- Perot interferometer, Interference by the division of wavefront and amplitude

Chemistry:

Conventional Analysis. varieties of titrations, Theory of indicators, volumetrical Analysis, Spectral Analysis, Lambert-Beer’s Law, electromagnetic radiation, IR, Thermal strategies of Analysis: operating and applications of thermogravimetric, UV-VIS instrumentation & applications, Differential thermal analysis & Differential scanning measuring.

Electrical Sciences:

DC Network: power and energy, Series circuits and parallel circuits, Kirchoff’s Laws, Delta-star conversion, Thevenin’s Theorem, Norton’s theorem, Superposition Theorem, Tellegen Theorem, Single section AC Circuits, average and effective values of sinusoids, most Power Transfer Theorem, Single section electromotive force generation, series, and parallel circuits, The conception of the phasor, a complicated illustration of electrical resistance, power issue, phasor diagram, power in complicated notation, reactive power, and apparent power, real power, Resonance serial, and parallel circuits, bandwidth and their relationship, Q-factor, half-power points.

Admit Card:

In order to download the admit card, the candidate will have to follow the steps given below:

  • The admit cards will be released online on the official website.
  • In order to view the admit card, the candidates will have to put in the credentials.
  • The candidate can download the admit card from the official website and it is recommended that he or she takes a few copies of the admit card. This will be required during the time of admission.
  • Once the admit card is downloaded, the candidate will have to check if the information provided in the admit card is correct.
  • If there is any mistake found, it is to be brought to the notice of the board, before the actual date of the examination.
  • This is an obligatory document and the candidate will have to carry it with them during the entrance test.

Result:

  • The authorities will be releasing the results on the official website of the university.
  • It is important for the candidate to download the result and keep a few copies of the result.
  • In order to download the result, the candidates will have to use details including the date of birth and the roll numbers.
  • After the results are declared, there is also a merit list is declared. This will provide you with a list of the candidates who will be called for the canceling session.
