JNU B.Ed Admission 2022: JNU Entrance Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission to the UG courses as well as post-graduate courses in Jawaharlal Nehru University. It is one of the most known entrance examinations of the country. JNU is the renowned public central university, awarded by the highest grade by The National Assessment and Accreditation Council which came into being in 1969. Candidates are advised to read the official advertisement before filling the form.

JNU B.Ed Admission 2022 Application Form:

  • The application form for the JNU admission will be available online
  • The candidates will have to fill-up the form by the last week of March 2022.
  • During the registration, the candidates will have to upload the passport size photographs and the signature in the given format.
  • It is also necessary for the candidates to provide a valid or a working email id along with a phone number in the application form for use in the future
  • There will also be a correction facility in the application form. But you are allowed to correct only certain parts.
  • Finally, the candidates will have to take a print of the application for uses in the future.

In order to fill up the application form, the candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • The candidate will first have to visit the official website
  • The candidate will then have to register
  • Login using a proper email id and a password
  • You will then have to fill in all the necessary details in the form
  • Upload the scanned document and pay the application fee

Eligibility Criteria:

  • BA ( Hons) 1st year – Class XII or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks. The candidates who are appearing for the class XII examination can also apply.
  • BA ( Hons) 2nd year – 1st year in Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education with a minimum of 45%  with enough proficiency in the language concerned.
  • MA ( Economics) – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks and with a basic 10+2 level knowledge in Mathematics.
  • MA in Persian, Japanese, Korean, French and Chinese – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any of the streams with a minimum of 45% marks and having the needed proficiency in the language concerned.
  • MCA – Bachelor’s degree in any of the discipline with proper knowledge of Mathematics and with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate.
  • Tech in Statistical Computing – Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operational Research and Statistics, or a Master’s in any other branch of Sciences or a Bachelor’s degree in any of the branches of Engineering or MCA with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Tech in Computer Science and Technology – Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics or any other Branch of Science, any branch of Engineering or MCA with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • The students who are PG holders in any Ayush related subjects may also apply.
  • Sc in Life Sciences – B.Sc. or B.Tech or equivalent in Physical, Biological or Agricultural Sciences or Biotechnology with at least 55% marks.

Exam Pattern:

  • The exam will be conducted online
  • The question paper will be in the English Language
  • There will be multiple-choice questions
  • The duration of the examination will be for 3 hours
  • The number of questions will vary as per the various courses
  • The examination paper will have a total of 100 marks.

JNU B.Ed Syllabus:

  • The syllabus of JNUEE differs from one course to another.
  • The syllabus of the Bachelor’s course is of the 10+2 standard
  • The syllabus for a course normally includes the topics from the qualifying examination of that particular course.
  • If you are doing Masters in Economics then you will have to include topics like Descriptive Statistics, Microeconomics, Underdevelopment and growth, Problems of Economic History, Growth and Under development.
  • It helps you in General aptitude, reasoning and also in 10+2, a Bachelor’s level Mathematics as well as Computer Science.
  • For M.Tech in Statistical computing, Part A will comprise of the General Aptitude, reasoning and Bachelor’s or Master’s Level Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics. Part B on the other hand, will have topics related to data science/data communications stream.
  • For M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology, the syllabus would include General Aptitude, Reasoning and Bachelor’s or Masters Level in Mathematics and Computer Science.
  • BA (Hons) 1st year in Foreign language will include questions from the artificial language, General knowledge, short essays on the issues related to the various subjects.

The candidates who are interested in applying for the JNU entrance test will look for their admit card and the admit card will be uploaded on the website. In order to download the admit card, the candidate will have to follow the steps given below:

  • The candidate will be able to download the admit cards by visiting the official website of the Jawaharlal Nehru University
  • There is one section on the website that says, ” DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARDS” on the left-hand side of the menu bar on the home page.
  • The candidates will have to enter all the necessary details that are required to generate the admit cards online.
  • This will include the registration numbers or the roll numbers that is given to the students at the time of application
  • Download the admit card and take a print
  • Save the admit card for future use.

Result:

  • The results will be declared in the month of February 2022.
  • You will be able to download the scorecard from the official website, by giving the date of birth and the roll number.
  • A cut off will also be declared
  • The result will have the scores of the examination
