Exam Pattern:

Exam pattern will help you in availing of the details such as marking scheme, topic weightage, total questions, total marks, subjects, test duration, and type of questions.

For the Preliminary Test:

  • The Preliminary test will have two papers.
  • Paper I will be for General Studies for 150 marks
  • Paper II will be a subject-wise paper for 300 marks.
  • The Written Exam will have eight papers for 300 marks (each paper).

Main Exam:

  • The main examination is a conventional essay type for 3 hours time duration and scientific articles
  • There will be negative marking in the paper

Meghalaya PSC Interview Round:

Those who successfully clear Main Examination will move for the Interview round. The interview will be for 250 marks.

The Written Exam will consist of 4 papers with 100 marks each for a one-hour time duration. The first two papers will be for General Studies and General Knowledge. The other two papers will be law Exams.
