MU OET PG 2024 Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern, Eligibility

MU OET PG 2024: The Application form for the MU OET PG 2024 Online Entrance Test for its PG program at Manipal University will available in October. It Should be submitted online before June 2024 along with the fee of Rs. 2,000.00 Online through debit/credit card/net banking. The fee can also be paid through a Demand Draft off the line. The Application form for Manipal University PG Admission 2024 must not be sent to Manipal University without a Demand Draft. The Application Form will be available on page official Website of MU OET PG. Applicants should have the following ready to be sent with the application:

  • Scan a copy of a recent color photograph with a light background ( preferably white).
  • Scan the signature of the candidate on white paper with black or blue ink.
  • The dimension of the file should be 200 x 200 px & the size of the file must not exceed 200 KB.
  • DD details, if the payment has been made through Demand Draft.
  • The application number and name should be mentioned on the reverse of the DD.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • E, B.Tech or equivalent in the respective field with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • M.I.E students who have passed in the respective field with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.
  • For M.E.(data and data Analysis) there are few seats reserved for M.Sc.(Math), Statistics Graduates. These students are MU OET PG 2024 for admission to M.E.course in Data & Data analysis.

Manipal University PG Admission Selection Process:

The applicant must appear for an online exam and process for the same begins in October. Make sure to submit the duly filled application form by the month of July. Get connected to the link in order to apply for the PG Examination. The questions will be consisted of English language and Objective Type. Besides submitting the application form, candidates are required to upload the prescribed documents in the scan form. Ensure mentioning the GATE scores. Take a print of the scores for further reference.

Counselling Process:

The process of counseling starts with filling out the registration form for MU OET PG 2024 Counselling.

  • The instructions must be read carefully before filling out the registration form.
  • The students may give an additional e-mail id and/or mobile number in the appropriate box.
  • Mention the 10+2 Board such as CBSE, ICSE, and State Board, in the form. In the case of the State Board, the name of the state must be mentioned.
  • In the case of 10+2 board marks being available, the minimum marks the maximum marks & the marks secured, in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects must be entered in the form.
  • The following documents should be brought by the candidates:
    • E-Hall Ticket (Original)
    • 10th Standard marks card for proof of date of birth (Original)
    • Character/Conduct certificate issued by the School/College (Original)
    • Copy of PAN card of the parent
    • One set of photocopies of all the above documents
    • Four recent & identical passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph

Note: If the original mark sheet is not available, then the candidate must attach a letter from the college principal stating that the University result is yet to be declared.

Seat Allotment:

Seats allotted as per MU OET 2024 are done in the order of merit and based on the choice of subject locked depending on the availability of seats.

The allotment status and the current status can be checked through online counseling by logging in and when the seats are already allotted, an e-mail is sent to the candidates about the details of the Seat Allotment.

Upgrading the Seat Allotment:

  • Candidates can download the provisional admission order of the upgraded seat from the candidate’s portal if the seats are upgraded.
  • If satisfied with the seat allotment, the candidates, need not participate in the counseling and opt out.
  • If a candidate wants to modify his choices, he can log in to the candidates’ portal and participate in the next round of counseling, otherwise, the choices shown in the earlier round shall be considered for the next round of seat allotment.
  • The candidates have to accept the seat once upgraded and they won’t have any claim over the earlier allotted seat.
