RBI Grade B Exam Pattern:

The selection process of the RBI Grade B Exam is conducted in three phases:

  • Prelims exam (Phase-I)
  • Mains exam (Phase-II)
  • interview process (Phase-III)

Prelims Exam Pattern:

  • The first stage of the RBI Grade B Exam will be the Preliminary Exam.
  • The Prelims exam is conducted by online mode.
  • There will be 4 sections in the Exam i.e, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & Reasoning.
  • The total marks allotted for all the sections are 200 and the total time allotted for the completion of all the sections is 120 minutes.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted from every question that is attempted wrong by a candidate.

Prelims Exam Pattern:

Mains Exam Pattern:

  • Mains Exam is the second stage of the RBI Grade B Exam.
  • The exam has total marks of 300 and The total time to complete the exam is 3 hours.
  • The mains examination is consists of 3 papers (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III).
  • A total of 100 questions are asked in each section with 200 questions asked in the English Language Section.

Interview:

The Last stage of the RBI Grade B Exam is the Interview process. The Candidates who will qualify the Mains Exam will be called for the Interview Process. The Interview will be of 50 marks. The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for the Interview will be decided by the Board with the number of vacancies. The Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.
