RUHS Nursing Admission 2023 Application Process:

The eligible and interested candidates can fill in the application form through the official website. Make sure to fill in all the details in the form accurately. And once the form is filled, submit it. The application procedure comes to an end with the submission of the application fee.

Application Fee:

Here is the category wise application fee for the different programmes:

M.Sc Nursing:

  • General Category: Rs. 3000/-
  • SC/ST/PH Category: Rs. 1500/-

B.Sc Nursing:

  • General Category: Rs. 1500/-
  • SC/ST/PH Category: Rs. 750/-

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing:

  • General Category: Rs. 1500/-
  • SC/ST/PH Category: Rs. 750/-

RUHS Nursing Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Check the eligibility criteria for RUHS Nursing Admission 2023 given below:

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: (Non-Service Candidates)

  • Candidates must have cleared H.S or 10+2 or Senior Secondary or an equivalent exam recognized by the University.
  • Applicants must have done Diploma in General nursing completed before /after the execution of new integrated course and must be the Registered Nurse and midwife with their related State Nursing Council may apply.
  • Entrants must have gibe through GNM with institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Also, medical fitness is required.

In-Service Candidates (Employees of Rajasthan State Government)

  • The candidate must be in service of the Government of Rajasthan.
  • Applicants must have completed at least 2 years of service after joining the service. Besides this, applicants need to submit the certificate to the above effect duly signed by the Director, Medical and Health Services, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
  • Age limit is not the criteria to apply.

M.Sc Nursing Course: Non-Service Candidates:

  • Candidate must have completed B.Sc. Nursing/Post-Basic (T & R), B.Sc. Nursing (Hons)/ B.Sc. Nursing from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences/University of Rajasthan or any other University recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Candidates must be registered nurses and registered midwives or equivalent with their respective state Nursing Registration Council.
  • 1 year minimum experience after completing the B.Sc. Nursing/Prior or After Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
  • There is no age limit to apply.
  • Candidate should hold at least 1 year of experience after completing B.Sc. Nursing / Prior or After Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

In-Service Candidates (Employees of Rajasthan State Government)

  • Applicant must be in service of State Government of Rajasthan
  • Candidates must have done 2 years of regular service after getting the regular appointment by the State Government of Rajasthan. They also need to produce a certificate to the above effect duly signed by the Director, Medical and Health Service, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

For B.Sc Nursing (4 Years) Programme

  • Candidates must have completed their Senior Secondary School Certificate examination (Science-Medical group) commenced by the constitutional Board in all the necessary subjects and the elective subjects of the Medical group including Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or any other exam recognized by the University of Rajasthan as equivalent thereto with no less than 45 % marks (40% for candidates from reserved category) in aggregate of Physics, English, Chemistry, and Biology taken together at the qualifying examination.
  • The minimum age limit to apply is 17 years and the maximum age limit is female applicants is 28 years whereas for male candidates it is 25 years

Exam Pattern:

The examination pattern for different Nursing Courses is given below:

For B. Sc Nursing Course:

  • The candidate needs to complete the examination in 2 hours
  • The Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions
  • There will be 100 questions
  • Questions will appear from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • The medium of paper will be English and Hindi
  • There will be no negative marking in the exam.

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course:

  • The candidate needs to complete the exam in 120 minutes
  • Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Type Questions
  • The total number of questions will be 120
  • The candidate will attempt the paper in English and Hindi medium

For M.Sc Nursing Course:

  • The time duration of the paper will be 120 minutes
  • The paper is based on MCQ
  • There will be 120 questions in the exam and candidates can choose either Hindi medium or English medium

Selection Process:

  • Sc Nursing: The selection is based on the merit decided via an entrance exam organized by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur
  • Sc Nursing: The admission is based on the merit of the entrance exam.
  • Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: Admission is based on the marks attained in the entrance test along with 1% bonus marks on completion of every two years of nursing services under Rajasthan State Government on or before the closing date of RUHS Nursing 2023 application submission.
