AME CET 2022: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test, popularly known as AME CET, is a common entrance exam conducted on a national level. AME CET offers admission in various aviation courses in Pan India. It offers admission in license, graduation, diploma & certification courses of aviation sectors like pilot, engineering, maintenance, hospitality, and management. AME CET 2022 Application Form:

The application form of the exam can be filled in both online and offline modes. Aspirants have to visit the official website and fill in their basic information to apply online. Aspirants have to purchase the application form from the exam approved centers if they want to apply offline.

  • The Male/Transgender aspirants of General and OBC category are required to pay INR 1000.
  • Aspirants are required to pay INR 800 as application fee for Female aspirants/ Physically Handicapped aspirants of all categories and Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribe, aspirants.
  • The examination fee needs to be submitted On-Line through Credit/debit card/ Net Banking while submitting the On-Line Application.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate age must be between 14 to 30 years at the time of admission.
  • The number of attempts will be Three (3).

Exam Pattern:

  • The exam would be conducted in offline and online mode on the same day.
  • It consists of 90 multiple choice questions.
  • The duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • The medium of the question paper is both Hindi and English.
  • Questions would be asked from subjects like Physics, English Chemistry, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
  • 4 marks are awarded to the aspirants for every correct answer.
  • 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

Syllabus:

 EXAM Syllabus is different for aspirants with 10+2 or equivalent qualification and for aspirants with 3 Years of Engineering Diploma Holders/B. Tech/ Higher qualification in Science with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

  • Higher senior secondary graduates would have 90 questions from 5 sections like Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, English and General Awareness
  • Diploma Holders would be tested on General Awareness, Aptitude and English.

Hall ticket:

To access and download the exam hall ticket, aspirants can follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of the exam, i.e. www.amecet.in
  • Step 2: Click on the link available to access the hall ticket.
  • Step 3: Enter the login credentials –Registration Number and Registered Mobile Number.
  • Step 4: After entering the details, the exam hall ticket would appear on the screen.
  • Step 5: Before downloading the exam hall ticket, aspirants must verify all the details given in the hall ticket.
  • Step 6: Download and take a print out of the exam hall ticket for future reference.

AME CET 2022 Result:

  • Based on the performance of the aspirants, a separate merit list would be prepared.
  • Scorecard with total marks in each subject and AIR shall be released on the official website after the declaration of result.
  • According to the conducting body, every year some percentage of the seats are reserved for Girls and for a 3-year Engineering Diploma holding aspirants.

Answer Key:

The Answer Key would be released within a month of exam conclusion. The answer key will help the student to analyze their results. They will be in a condition to judge for themselves how much they will score.

Factors determining cut-off are given by the exam conducting authority of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (exam).

  • The number of aspirants appearing in the exam.
  • The lowest marks scored in the exam.
  • The highest marks scored in the exam.
  • The difficulty level of the exam.
  • The number of seats available in the participating AME institutes.
  • The total number of aspirants who have qualified for the exam.
  • Previous cut-off trends of the exam.
