ARPIT 2023: ARPT is a well-known examination that takes place every year by the National Testing Agency. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) announced an online Annual Refresher Programme In Teaching (ARPIT) in the year 2019. ARPIT certification is done via SWAYAM which is equal to one refresher course of UGC for CAS notified by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The application form for ARPIT 2023 will be released through the official website arpit.nta.nic.in. The exam will be computer-based and here are the steps to apply for the test:

  • First, go to the official website, arpit.nta.nic.in.
  • Now, scroll down and find the option ‘Fill Application Form’.
  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ button.
  • Fill the application form with important details such as personal details, educational qualification, contact details, etc.

Application Fee:

Check the application fee below:

  • General Category: Rs.1000/-.
  • OBC/SC/ST/PWD/Women: Rs. 500/-.
  • Faculty Members: NIL but they need to show their documents as proof to avail the benefit.
  • Submit the application fee using a net banking facility such as Visa/Master/RuPay/Syndicate Bank/Credit/Debit card.
  • The application fees non-refundable

Number of Attempts: The candidate can attempt to appear three times in the exam.

Applicants need to fulfill the eligibility conditions for ARPIT 2023. Here are the details about the same:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Faculty or non-faculty both can appear in the exam.
  • The candidate must be possessed with a Law graduate degree from some government recognized institute.

Exam Pattern:

Applicants must know the examination pattern to prepare accordingly.

  • The exam will be commenced in the online mode
  • The Paper will consist of 100 questions
  • The candidate will get 3 hours to complete the paper
  • The candidate will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer and a deduction of 1/3 negative marks on every incorrect answer.

Exam Centres:

The exam will be commenced in 140 exam centers across the nation. Some of the exam centers include Itanagar/Naharlagun, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, Tezpur, Port Blair, Chirala, Guntur, Kakinada, and so many others.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released for those who have completed their application form process successfully. Check the official website to get the admit card arpit.nta.nic.in.  Make sure to take the print of the admit card along with original identity proof to the exam center.

Answer Key:

NTA is responsible for releasing the Answer Key for ARPIT 2023 after the exam gets over. The answer key will be released through the official website. It will consist of answers which will help candidates to evaluate the marks.

Result:

The result will be declared on the official website of NTA APRIT. The scorecard consisted of the marks attained by the applicant in CBT. Those who attain 50% and above will get the certificate and will also be graded as per the grades received. Applicants can download their respective certificates issued by SWAYAM.

Qualifying Marks:

The National Testing Agency has set 50% marks as the minimum aggregate percentage that every applicant should receive.  Check the grading system followed by NTA:

  • 80% and above: Grade A
  • 70-79%: Grade B
  • 60-69%: Grade C
  • 50-59%: Grade D
  • Less than 50%: Grade E (Failure)
