Eligibility Criteria for Different Courses:

MBA and 2-year PGDM Banking Courses:

  • The candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in graduation with an excellent academic record.
  • Admission to MBA and PGDM courses is based on the marks scored in management entrance exams for instance CAT.
  • Those who have cleared the above examinations will appear for group exercises and personal interviews.

Short-term PG Diploma Banking Courses:

  • An entrant must have acquired at least 50% marks to attain admission in the course.
  • Admissions are based on aptitude tests and personal interviews.

Certificate Banking Programmes:

  • The candidate must have completed graduation and acquired at least 50% marks.
  • The selection of candidates is based on performance in the personal interview. However, few institutes choose students as per their performance in the entrance exam.

Banking Exams:

  • For seeking a job in an established and well-reputed bank, the applicant needs to clear the competitive examination.
  • Based on the candidate’s performance in the competitive examinations, different posts are allotted to the applicants.
  • The eligibility criteria are different for different exams.

  • IBPS PO Exam: IBPS PO is shortened for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers. The exam is commenced every year to recruit the eligible candidates to the post of Probationary Officers/Management Trainee (PO/MT) in almost 11 public sector banks in India. The selection will be based on the preliminary exam, mains exam, and Interview. In India, there is high demand for Probationary Officers/Management trainees in several public sector banks because of the career growth and well-paid salary.
  • RBI Grade B Examination: RBI Grade B is one of the most difficult bank examinations to clear because of the huge syllabus. The vacancy is very limited and the exam is commenced once a year to choose the right candidate for the Reserve Bank of India. The prestigious post and lifestyle of the RBI officer give a wide scope to applicants.
  • SBI PO Exam: SBI PO is commenced for recruiting the Probationary Officers for State Bank of India at different branches located in India. It is one of the most sought jobs in the Banking industry for a huge number of candidates. The recruitment process for SBI PO Exam has three phases – Preliminary exam, Main Exam, and GD/ Interview round. The SBI PO Notification 2021 is yet to be released.
  • SBI Clerk Exam: SBI Clerk examination takes place once a year to recruit applicants for different posts such as Junior Associates, Customer Support, and Sales. Candidates will be recruited to different branches of SBI bank. A wide number of applicants apply for this examination every year. The main task of the SBI Clerk is to interact with clients and solve their problems. And selected candidates will get the job profile of cashiers and depositors.
  • IBPS Clerk Exam: IBPS Clerk examination is a common written examination conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit candidates to the nationalized banks situated in India to fulfill the vacancies for clerical level jobs. The common written exam is a prerequisite to select personnel for Clerical cadre posts in Public Sector Banks. Those who are selected for clerical cadre will work on the probation period for 6 months. And after the completion of six months, they will appear for an assessment test and performance review for the permanent seat.
  • IBPS SO Exam: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection commences an entrance test for selecting the eligible applicants on different posts in Public sector banks. The posts are as follows:

    • HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I)
