CRSU B.Ed 2022 Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus

CRSU B.Ed 2022: Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University or CRSU is located in Jind of Haryana state. Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre was its earlier name. With only two courses it initiated its journey from the month of August 2007. Gradually from 2012 more courses were introduced under its banner. Under the Ordinance no. 6 Haryana Government bestowed it with the status of University in the year 2014. Haryana Govt. started the B.Ed programme for the graduate and postgraduate students under this University from 2016. All B.Ed colleges of Haryana is affiliated to CRSU. So CRSU was the single University conducting the B.Ed program in 2016. B.Ed / M.Ed program of CRSU was the most demanding course for students and still, it continued to be so. Within a short span, CRSU gained its popularity among the students of the generation.

CRSU B.Ed 2022 Application Form:

For availing the application form candidates should log in to the authorized website http://hrybed.in/ or www.crsu.ac.in  and http://hrybed.net/

  • Any information regarding admission can be acquired from the prospectus provided by CRSU. The prospectus provides meticulous details about the counseling sessions as well. In order to avail a softcopy of the same Candidates can refer to the registered websites.
  • Candidates need to register themselves according to the key dates stated in the timetable for admission in Govt Aided or Govt. or University Maintained or Self-Funding Colleges in Haryana.

Candidates need to submit certain essential documents at the time of admission. They are as follows:

  • 3 copies of Marksheet of 10th class
  • 3 copies of Marksheet of 12th class
  • 3 copies of Graduation mark sheet
  • 3 copies of mark sheet for Post-Graduation (optional)
  • 8 recent photographs
  • Migration certificate

Registration Fee & Counselling Charges:

General category candidates need to pay Rs. 1000(Rs500 as registration and remaining Rs 500 as counselling fee) as charges towards On-line registration and counselling fee. For female applicants/ BC/ PH/ SC the fee is Rs.625/-(registration fee is Rs 125 and counselling fee is  Rs. 500/-). The fee for Registration and Counselling is non-refundable as stated by the University.

On-line deposition of registration-cum-Counselling charges must be paid by the applicant by logging in to http://hrybed.in/ or www.crsu.ac.in and http://hrybed.net/ in CRSU account, Jind. Bank charges which a  candidate needs to pay are stated below:

Manual Challan using PNB is Rs 6, AXIS Bank is Rs. 5 ( GST is separate), IDBI is Rs 6.

  1. Using Credit/Debit cards and Net Banking Fees can be paid in already mentioned banks with the charges allotted by those particular banks.
  2. For Cash fee payment by a candidate the status of the payment in any of the banks mentioned earlier will be notified within 48 hours after the fee payment on the website. After the status of payment gets updated a candidate can complete the procedure of registration.

Eligibility Criteria:

For getting enrolled in two years of regular B.Ed. Course according to the rules provided by NCTE all applying candidates must score a minimum of 50% in their graduation degree or post-graduation in any stream related to Social Science/Sciences/Humanities. For B.Tech/B.E applicants they must have 55% marks with Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in order to be eligible for the admission program.

Candidates need to keep in mind that 49.5% or more will not be considered as 50% as there will be no rounding off the system in case of minimum qualifying marks to get eligible for admission in CRSU.

For candidates belonging SC/ST category within the state of Haryana, the minimum qualifying marks are 47.5% only.

For Blind candidates /physically handicapped or hearing or visually impaired applicant, the minimum qualifying marks is 47.5%.

While preparing the merit list for any postgraduate candidate the highest obtained marks either in graduation or post-graduation will be considered in case of admission in CRSU or Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University.

Admission for B.Ed in the regular course will be denied to any candidates having Compartmental in their last examination.

Any candidate with a PG diploma in any discipline will not be treated similarly to a Master’s Degree.

Candidates in Science and Arts stream (Group-I) with Maths as a compulsory subject will have a 50% reservation of the total number of seats available in each college. Remaining 50% of seats will be set aside for candidates belonging to Arts & Commerce Group (Group-II).

Reservation of Seats:

There will be reservation of seats in Govt.Aided/ Govt. / UTDs /Maintained college of Education.

For Scheduled Castes, there will be a 20% reservation of seats.

  • For Backward Classes (A) 16% reservation will be there.
  • Backward Classes (B) will have an 11% reservation.
  • For Disabled candidates, 3% reservation of seats will be there.
  • EWS candidates will get10% reservation.

Result:

General & reserved category candidates will have separate merit list. Merit List will be displayed on the official website. Based on the rank of the merit list candidates will be asked to join the counselling session. Admission in CRSU will take place after the counselling session.
