Madras University B.Ed Admission 2022: Madras University is one of the best universities in the state of Tamil Nadu. • You can get the application form online from the official website of the university or offline from the university campus.
• The applicant has to fill up an application form and pay the application fee online or they can also make the payment of Rs.300 through a demand draft and send it to the following address:

In order to fill up the application form offline, the candidate will have to follow the steps below:

• First, the candidate will have to go to the ” application sales counter” in the University counter.
• In order to get the application form from the counter, the candidate will have to pay an amount of Rs. 200
• The candidate will have to pay an amount of Rs. 100 in the counter, if he or she belongs to the SC/ST category. For availing this facility, the candidate will have to show a copy of the community certificate.
• The candidate also has the opportunity to get the application form by post also. In order to do this, he or she will have to submit a written requisition.
• On the demand, the candidate will have to mention the name of the program and send a sum of Rs. 250. This includes Rs. 200 for the form and Rs. 50 for the postage that has to be drawn favoring “The Registrar, University of Madras, Chennai- 600005.
• The candidate will also be able to download the application form online, fill in all the details in the application form, assign the form and then send it along with a DD of rs. 200 at the address of the University.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicants who are interested to apply for the PG courses of the University will have to clear the 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a conversant board. They should also hold a bachelor’s degree from a well-known university.
• The candidates who belong to the General class will have to get a minimum of 55% marks and the applicants belonging to the reserved category should get a minimum of 50% marks in the last examination
• It is highly recommended that the candidates should go through the eligibility criteria thoroughly before filling up the application form.
