IBPS RRB Officer Syllabus & Exam Pattern: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the recruitment in Regional Rural Banks (RRB’s) through a national level exam annually. In this article, we will give full information about the Exam pattern & Syllabus for IBPS RRB Exam. The IBPS RRB exam will be conducted for recruitment to four different posts is given below:

  1. IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
  2. IBPS RRB Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)
  3. IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II ( Generalist & Specialist)
  4. IBPS RRB Officer Scale III (Senior Manager

Exam Pattern for IBPS RRB Office Assistant:

The exam pattern for the selection to the post of Office Assistant is different from the exam pattern of Officer Grade. IBPS RRB Assistant Exam will be conducted in two phases. There will be no interview to select for the Post.

Exam Pattern for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I, II & III:

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I (PO) Exam is conducted in 3 different stages and the Officer Scale-II & III (SO) will be conducted through 2 stages:

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I (PO):

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Interview Process

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II & III:

  • Mains Exam (Single Examination)
  • Interview Process

Exam Pattern:

  • All the exams will be conducted through online mode and will be of objective type.
  • All sections (except the English Language section & Hindi Language section) will be bilingual (i.e. will be asked in both English & Hindi).
  • There will be both sectional as well as overall cut-offs in IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I (PO) exam.
  • 1/4th marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Interview:

The last stage of the exam will be an Interview for the post of Officers Scale I, II & III. Candidates who will clear the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I, II & III will be called for an interview. The interview will be of 100 marks and the interview will be conducted in select centers. The address of the centers will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

IBPS RRB Syllabus for Prelims & Mains Exam:

The syllabus is similar for Officer Scale-I (PO) and IBPS RRB Assistant (Clerk) exam for both Prelims & Mains. The IBPS RRB syllabus differs a little bit for Officers Scale II & III as compared to other exams. The detailed subject wise analysis of all subjects is given below:
