IISC Syllabus Maths, Chemistry, Biological Science & Eligibility

IISC Syllabus for Maths: The question paper comprises of two parts-Part A and Part B. Part will be for 40 marks and Part will be for 60 marks based on the multiple-choice questions Along with this, in Part B, 10 other questions also included, out of which 6 are mandatory to answer. Entire syllabus for entrance examination IISC mentioned below:

  • Real analysis
  • Complex analysis
  • Linear algebra
  • Abstract algebra
  • Ordinary differential equations

IISC Syllabus For Chemistry:

Objective type questions included for the following:

  • Structure and bonding
  • Spectroscopy
  • Chemical Energetics and Chemical Dynamics
  • S,p,d,f block elements and coordination compounds
  • Nomenclature of Organic compounds and stereochemistry of organic compounds
  • Common organic reactions and mechanisms

IISC Syllabus Biological Science

  • Ecological Science
  • Management
  • Part A comprises of Analytical ability and management aptitude
  • Part B Section II includes Economics
  • Part B Section III includes Psychology
  • Part B Section IV includes Social Work
  • Part B Section V includes Management Science

Part C Section I includes German and Materials Science

Indian Institute of Science or IISC soon going to commence the exam for entrance but before that, it is a prerequisite to know all about IISC Entrance Test 2016 Eligibility & Syllabus.

Eligibility:

There are certain points that the candidate should keep in mind before applying for the examination. First of all is the eligibility factor which is mentioned as below:

  • An eligible aspirant for IISC will be the one who has achieved the minimum 60% at least under the General category
  • Candidate secured 54% at least under the OBC-NCL category
  • Candidate secured 30% at least under PH, SC or ST category
  • AIPMT: Candidates need to have secured with distinct marks as eligibility:
  • At least 60% for General category candidates
  • At least 54% for OBC-NCL category candidates
  • At least 30% for SC or ST or PH category.
