Lloyd LET 2022: Lloyd Entrance Test is also referred to as the Lloyd LET is an entrance examination that is conducted by the Lloyd Law College. This examination is conducted to admit undergraduate students to various law courses. This is an examination that is conducted once every year. This is a mandatory examination for every student who is interested to get admission to the Lloyd Law college that is considered to be one of the best law colleges of the country. The courses that are offered by this law college is B.A.LLB and LL.B. The duration for the B.A. LL.B course is for 5 years and the duration for the LLB course is only three years. The eligibility criteria for these two courses differ from each other.

Application Form:

The candidates who are eligible to apply for this examination can download the form from the official website. The application forms are available both offline as well as online. In the application form, important details like the personal qualification details have to be filled in. Apart from filling up the form, the candidates will also have to submit all the necessary documents. Once the form is filled up, the candidate will also have to submit the application fee.

To apply for this examination, the candidate will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • The forms are available in the official portal
  • The candidates will have to fill in important details like the Name of the applicant, name of the father and the mother, the address, the gender, the date of birth, aadhar cards, mobile or phone numbers, etc.
  • The candidates will then have to fill up the recent passport size photo along with the signatures
  • The candidate needs to read all the necessary instructions mentioned in the brochure
  • Candidates who are applying in an offline mode have to fill up the application form and then send the form along with the application fee and the documents in the following address:

Application Fee:

Candidates applying online will have to pay a fee of Rs. 1500 through Debit or Credit Card. On the other hand, the candidates who are applying in an offline mode will have to pay the application fee through a demand draft.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates will have to seek admission to the various under-graduate law courses that are B.A LLB have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • To appear for this test, the candidates will have to pass either the class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board
  • The students will have to secure at least 45%. The candidates belonging to the OBC category will have to score at least 42% marks and the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will have to get at least 40% marks.
  • The candidate cannot be more than 25 years of age as on the 1st of July of the year of admission.

Exam Pattern:

To do well in the examination, the candidate needs to understand the examination pattern. The candidate will have to answer 150 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.

Syllabus:

There are different types of questions asked in the LET test. You can go through the discussion below to understand it better:

General Knowledge and Current Affairs: This is a section that will test the general awareness of the individuals appearing for the test. Candidates have to know about the current affairs in the country.

English and Comprehension: This section is meant to test the English language skills of the test takers based on comprehension and Grammar. The grammar questions will be to identify the incorrect grammar, filling up the blanks with the correct words, synonyms, antonyms, jumbled words, parts of speech, etc. There will also be a section on comprehension where the candidates will have to know the meanings of the words that have been used in a passage, the central subject of the passage, and their understanding of the passage.

Mathematics: The Mathematics section based on the Mathematics of the Class X level.

Analytical abilities and Logical Reasoning: This is a section that will have questions like logical sequences, analogies, logical links, rectifying illogical arguments, syllogisms, and also identifying the various patterns.

Legal Awareness and Legal Aptitude: This is a section that tests the legal aptitude of the candidates. The questions here are on legal prepositions. But this section will not test the proper legal concept of the candidates.

Admit Card:

Every year, the admit card is available on the official website in the last week of May. The candidates can, therefore, check for the admit card after the 23rd of May. To download the admit card, the candidate will have to follow the steps given below:

  • On the homepage of the website, there will be a highlighted link
  • When you click on the link, ” Download admit Card”, they will ask for your e-mail id.
  • Once you enter the email id there will be a submit button on which you will have to click
  • You will then be taken to a page that has the admit card
  • After this, you will have to download the admit card and then take a print of it
  • Without the admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Lloyd LET 2022 Result:

To view the results, the candidate will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • They will first have to visit the official website
  • When the results are out, they will find a highlighted link on the home page
  • They will also get a link that says, LET – 2022 result
  • When they click on the page they will be re-directed to the B.A. LLB and LLB
  • Here the candidate will have to click on the appropriate link
  • Then the candidate will be finally taken to the PDF page that has the candidate’s name, the roll number and also the marks
  • To check the marks, the candidates will have to search their names on the list

Cut Off:

The names of the candidates are included in the merit list based on the marks that they have received. The cut off depends on the course that has been selected by the candidate. The admission to this college depends on the marks that the candidate scores in the examination.
