PU LLB 2022 Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern, Syllabus, Eligibility

PU LLB 2022: PU LLB exam is conducted by Punjab University Chandigarh. This exam is held every year and the application form can be filled online from the official website which is www.puchd.ac.in. The university offers Undergraduate and Post Graduate Programmes. The application form tentatively comes in the month of April. The exam will be taken in June month.

This is State level exam. The examination will be taken both online and offline mode.  Candidates who want to take admission can fill the form with complete details before the maturity date.

PU LLB 2022 Application Form:

The University has begun issue of application form in April month.  Candidates can fill the application form via online or offline mode both. Candidates have to register urself before filling the form.

Applicants will have to fill the form with all required details for eg. Details like Name, Date of birth, email id, apart from this candidates have to upload all scanned documents as well.

Application Fee:

The applicant can pay fees via both online and offline mode. for online payment candidates can use credit card/Debit card and Netbanking options. For offline mode, candidates have to make a fee challan in the name of the university from any branch of the State Bank of India.

  • For SC/ST/PWD- Rs. 1088/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants who seeking admission has different Eligibility criteria as per the course chosen which are as follows:

Candidates must have completed Graduation from recognised university  with a minimum 45% for the general category and 5% concession for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/BC

There is no age limit for appearing in this exam. Candidates must have to ensure first eligibility criteria as required by the university.

Exam Pattern:

The exam will be taken both online and offline mode. The time total time duration of the exam is 1 hr.30min.Question paper is multiple choice type or subjective.

Examination language is Hindi, English, Punjabi. Total number of questions is 100 and the maximum number is 100. Each correct answer contains 1 mark and at each incorrect answer there are 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Exam Syllabus:

In the PU entrance examination of law, there is a total of 3 sections which are set by the University.

In the first Section questions related to General Knowledge of English like Essay writing, unseen passages, sentences, reading comprehension, incorrect sentences, jumbled words, unseen passages. and Reasoning Ability Topics include Blood Relations, Critical Reasoning, Series, Syllogism, Analogy, Directions.

In the Second section questions related with Current Affairs and General Knowledge like an overview of Indian history, Geography, Science and Environment, Physical geography, important awards, Major UN bodies their functions locations, Indian Constitution or the justice system, science, literature, sports, art, etc.

In the Third section Questions related to Legal Aptitude like Indian Constitution, its structure, and schedules, Torts, IPC and the CrPC, Strict liability, law of Crimes, Contracts, Constitutional law, Vicarious liability, Intellectual property rights, International law, Constitutional law and polity, Legal Awareness covering.

Admit Card:

University will issue Notification about admit card tentatively in June month. Candidates can download admit cards through the official website by using essential credentials.

Admit Card has following details like Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Roll Number, Examination center name and address.

Result:

After the examination university will declare the result in June month itself. In result, candidates will get to know their obtained marks, Rank and qualifying status. Candidates who are qualified are called for counselling after the counselling merit list will be prepared and the admission procedure starts as per guidelines of the university. University prepared merit list separately for various categories including SC, ST, OBC, General.

Answer Key:

After conducting the examination University will issue the answer key at the web portal. Candidates can check and compare their answer with the answer key and if there is any error they can raise objections against it. The answer key released online mode candidates can download it by using email id.If any error occurs from universities and then conducting body will resolve it and upload a new answer key with modification.

Cut Off:

PU LLB releases cut off after each round of counselling, in the minimum marks of selection will be decided and accordingly, candidates get admission. The cutoff list released separately by all colleges.
