Odisha CPET 2022 Application Process:

After you have checked the eligibility criteria, the next step would be to apply for CPET 2022. Here are the details:

  • First, go to the official website and click the New User registration link. Now, Enter Your Name, Mobile Number and E-Mail Id.
  • Click on Generate OTP.
  • Applicants will then receive the OTP on their mobile phones. Enter the OTP and create a password.
  • Login with your mobile number as well as a password.
  • Now, you will Registration page on the screen. Fill in the application form with all the details and select the subject.
  • Upload your latest photo.
  • Submit the application form and download the form.

Application Fee:

The application fee to be submitted to apply are as follows:

  • General Category-Rs. 500 per subject
  • SC/ ST Category- Rs. 300 per subject
  • Addition Fee for Each Extra Subject – Rs. 200

Odisha CPET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

The applicants must know the eligibility criteria before applying for Odisha CPET 2022. Here are the complete details:

  • To apply for AIHCA (Ancient Indian History Culture and Archeology), the candidate must have acquired at least 45% marks in graduation from the Arts stream.
  • To apply for Analytical Chemistry, the candidate must graduate from the Arts stream and attain a minimum of 45% in aggregate.
  • Candidates can apply for Anthropology if they are from the Arts stream and attained at least 45% in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
  • To apply for Applied Physics, the applicant must have attained a minimum of 45% marks in graduation from the Science stream.
  • To apply for the Bio-Chemistry course, the applicant must graduate from the Arts stream with a 50%
  • For Botany, the applicant must be a graduate of the Science stream and achieve 45% marks in the last qualifying exam.
  • For Economics, the candidate must be a graduate in any stream and attain at least 45% marks in the last qualifying exam.
  • To apply for English, the applicant must be from the Arts stream in the last qualifying exam and acquired at least 45% marks in the last qualifying exam.

Exam Pattern:

  • The exam will be conducted in the Offline (OMR-Based) form.
  • The Paper will have70 questions
  • There will be MCQ (Multiple-Choice Questions)
  • The candidate will receive 1 mark for every correct answer but no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

Marks Distribution:

  • 40 Questions – Core Subject
  • 30 Questions – Elective Paper of the Same Subject

Admit Card:

Admit Card/Hall Ticket will be provided to the candidates after filling out the application forms. Candidates need to visit the official website to collect the admit card. By filling in the login credentials, candidates will get a glimpse of the hall ticket. Download the admit card and take the print. Keep the print safely to carry to the examination center. It is an important document that a candidate needs to carry along mandatory. Make sure to check the details on the admit card.

Answer key:

After Odisha CPET 2022 examination gets over, the answer key will be released soon. The official website will provide information about the release of the answer key. Through the Answer key, applicants will get the answers to the paper they have filled in. The subject-wise answer keys will be released such for Life Science, Philosophy, Population Studies, Home Science, Economics, Hindi, History, Geology, MBA (Rural Management/Rural Development), Public Administration, Computer Science, Master of Public Health, MBA (Travel & Tourism), Education, Botany, Chemistry, Library and Information Science, Material Science, etc.

Result:

The examination result of Odisha CPET 2022 will be released. The merit list will be prepared and released on the official website. After the result declaration, the eligible candidates can seek admission to several universities and institutions in Odisha as per the rank, reservation, or weightage policy. The admission process will be different from one university to another.  The merit list will consist of marks achieved in the exam, rank, and scores achieved.

Counselling Process:

The counseling process will be of three rounds. Those who are selected for admission will have their names mentioned college/university-wise. The counseling process comprises the following:

  • Reporting Process: After checking the selection list, the applicants will move to the reporting process along with the important documents. Make sure to appear with the original and photocopy of the qualification certificates such as Undergraduate mark sheet, Transfer Certificate, Class X & XII certificate, Category Certificate, Income Certificate, and 5 passport size photographs. The reporting process will be commenced at the institute/college in which the applicant attained admission.
  • Admission Fee Payment: The admission fee needs to be submitted at the time of reporting. Pay the fee in offline mode at the college counter. Check the fee details such as the amount on the official website soon after the release of the result.

Slide-Up Option Form: This form will be made available after the release of the admission list. Those who are dissatisfied with the seat allotment may fill out the slide-up option form to get a better allotment. The slide-up form will be made available for the first and second rounds of counseling.
