RBI Assistant 2023: Reserve bank of India is the central banking institution whose function is to control the monetary policy of the Indian currency Rupee. RBI was established on 1st April 1935 under the RBI act 1934 on the recommendation of the John Hilton Young Commission. Originally its headquarter was in Kolkata but transfer to Mumbai in 1937. It plays an important role in strategy formation in the government of India. It is a member of the Asian Clearing Union. The Application Form for RBI Assistant will release in December. RBI has released the vacancies for the assistant post. It is a national level recruitment process. The interested candidates can apply for RBI Assistant 2023. Eligibility Criteria:

For the submit application form candidates fulfill the below criteria:

  • The candidate should have done a bachelor’s degree from any discipline with an aggregate 50% from any recognized university
  • The candidate should be a citizen of India. Besides the citizens of Bhutan, Nepal, and Tibetan refugees can also apply for the exam.
  • The candidate should have completed 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years. The age relaxation would be provided to the candidates of reserved categories
  • The candidate knows computer
  • The candidate must be proficient in the regional language.

Exam Pattern:

The examination would be held in three stages – preliminary, mains, and interview. Both the exams will be held online. The pre and main exams are objective-based.

Preliminary Exam:

  • Pre-exam consists of 100 questions of overall 100 marks.
  • There will be a reduction of 1/4th in every wrong answer.
  • The time duration for an exam is 1 hour.
  • It consists of four sections: – reasoning ability, numerical ability, English the candidates who qualify the pre-exam will give mains.

Mains exam:

  • The mains exam consists of 200 questions for 200 marks.
  • The time duration is 2 hours.
  • The exam will be completely MCQ based.
  • 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • It consists of five sections: – reasoning, numerical ability, English, general awareness, computer knowledge.

Interview:

The candidates who clear the mains exams will go for an interview. The interview will be of 35 marks. For writing as well as for the interview a separate admit card will be issued. Download the admit card and make sure you carry it along.

RBI Assistant syllabus:

  • English: Reading comprehension, one-word substitution, synonyms, antonyms, sentence arrangement, sentence correction, cloze test, word meaning, active-passive voices, and phrases.
  • General awareness: current India news, current world news, geography, history, politics.
  • Quant: time and work, time and distance, simplifications and CI, average, probability, permutation and combination, allegation, and comparison.
  • Reasoning: number series, blood relations, the odd man out, analogy, coding, and decoding, puzzle, row arrangement, circular arrangement, symbols, directions, Understanding.

  • Reasoning: Kiren publication, Arihant.
  • English: S.C. Gupta
  • For General awareness sites like study IQ, banker Adda, Grade up is helpful.

RBI Assistant Admit Card:

  • The admit card won’t be sent to the candidate through the post. A candidate has to download it from the official site of RBI.
  • The admit card is released 7-10 days before the examination.
  • The candidates are requested to kindly read the guidelines before downloading the admit card
  • The admit card can be download using the application number and password/date of birth.
  • The candidate without Admit Card will not be allowed to attend the exam.
  • Carry your ID proof along with you

RBI Assistant Result:

  • The result would be declared on the official website after the completion of each phase.
  • After the release of the final result, the candidate can access the marks obtained in each round.

Cut Off:

The candidates can check cut-off after each phase of the exam. The candidates who would successfully clear the cut off will be applicable for the next round.
