TNPPCAHS 2023: The TNPPCAHS examination is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Private Professional Colleges Association- Health Sciences (TNPPCA-HS). The examination is conducted at the state level once in a year. They offer admission for the Post Graduate Program M. Pharma degree. There are 28 private colleges are associated with the TNPPCAHS. For the latest notification candidates are suggested to go through the official notification through the official website that is www.tnppcahs.org

In this article, you will get to know all details about the examination like application form, eligibility criteria, exam syllabus, exam pattern, admit card, cutoff, selection, and counseling process.

TNPPCAHS 2023 Application Form:

The application form available on the website will start in June. It can fill the till the August. It is advisable to fill the application form and pay the application fee before the last date to avoid rejection. The following points must be considered during the form-filling process.

  • Go to the official website of the TNPPCAHS and click on the option for the download application form
  • The application form is in OMR format so read all instructions carefully before filling the form and to avoid the rejection
  • Fill the application form with correct details like your name, parents details, education details, phone number, email id, residential address, etc
  • Attach your passport size photograph in the required manner
  • Put your signature
  • Now make a Demand Draft in the name of the institution through the bank
  • Attach your all mandatory documents and Demand Draft along with the application form and submit to the TNPPCA-HS

Application Fee:

  • The application fee for the TNPPCA-HS for each category (General/ST/SC/OBS/Transgender) is Rs. 1500/- only
  • You can pay application fees by making a Demand Draft in the favor of “TNPPCA-HS” payable at Chennai along with the application form to the following address:

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are suggested to read all points of eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. TNPPCAHS provides admission for both B. Pharm and M. Pharm course. Eligibility criteria for both courses are different as per the courses.

  • For the B. Pharm course candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks (GEN/OBC candidates) and 45% marks (SC/ST candidates) from a recognized board or institution.
  • For the M. Pharm course candidates must have B. Pharm degree in relevant subjects with minimum 55% marks (GEN/OBC/BCM/MBC candidates) and 50% marks (SC/ST/SCA candidates) from recognized universities, institutions, and Pharmacy Council.
  • Candidates who have appearing also can apply for the entrance examination.

Examination Pattern:

  • Mode of Examination- offline mode (pen and paper-based)
  • Mode of language- English
  • Total Questions- 125 questions
  • Question Distribution- Mathematics/Biology (75), Chemistry (25), and Physics (25)
  • Time Duration- 3 hours
  • Total Marks- maximum marks 90
  • Question Type- Multiple Choice
  • Marking Scheme- 1 mark will be awarded for correct answer and no negative marking

Admit Card:

Admit card will download from the website by using the application number and date of birth as a Password. It is mandatory to bring admit at the time of examination if the candidate will not be able to sit in the examination. Also bring one identity proof with you like Adhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID etc. it has the following details name, roll number, exam center address and timings, etc.

Result:

The result of the examination will be released after the examination. They will prepare a merit list on the basis of qualifying marks candidates has got. Candidates can check the result through online by using their Roll number and password. After the result merit list will be displayed on the website as well.

Cutoff Marks:

The cutoff marks depend upon the following factors like the number of candidates applying, seat availability, candidates’ seat ratio, reservation policies, test difficulty level, etc. So minimum and maximum qualifying marks are deicide by the authority and those candidates who score more marks as per the qualifying marks decided, the rank will be decided as per that.

Counseling:

To appear in the counseling process, candidates need to do registration first and as per that, they call for counseling. There are two to three rounds of counseling take place. Candidates have suggested the take all the required documents along with you. As per the name in the merit list, you will call for counseling. If any of the candidates miss the counseling then he/she will be canceled for admission. Your seat allotment will be also decided in the counseling.
