SLAT 2022: SLAT is shortened for Symbiosis Law Admission Test which is commenced every year by The Symbiosis International (Deemed) University so that eligible applicants can acquire admission to five-year integrated law courses. The law courses proffered at the four law schools under the aegis of SIU – Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur (new campus). The institutes offer two integrated courses. BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) Every year, the university gives chance to the interested candidates to apply for the entrance examination and those who are interested to apply for Symbiosis SLAT 2022 may check the details mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria BA LLB / BBA LLB:

  • Candidate must have successfully completed the class XII exam from any national or state board of education.
  • Candidates must have attained at least 45% in their examination and 40% for those belonging to SC/ST category.
  • Those who are appearing in the Class XII exam may also apply by providing proof of qualification during the time of final admission.

Symbiosis SLAT 2022 Application Form:

  • Start with the registration process. Fill the registration form.
  • Upload the current colour photograph during the time of registration. Make sure that the photograph should not be more than 3 months old.
  • Make sure that you add correct information in the form.
  • Make the payment of the registration fee INR 1750 /-
  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Along with the registration fee, pay the program registration fee for each programme. The registration fee for programs is INR 1000/- which is also non-refundable.

  • Step 1: Start with the online registration by visiting the website www.set-test.org
  • Step 2: Upload the latest and colored photograph and ensure that the photo should not be less than three months old.
  • Step 3: Fill the Application Form with personal and educational details. Adding contact details suicidal ideation also the part of the application form to be filled
  • Step 4: Make a payment of the application fee of Rs 1750/-
  • Step 5: Choose the program and institute

Info about Courses:

All the above mentioned institutes offer two five-years integrated undergraduate programs:

  1. Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA. LL.B): The course delivers understanding regarding the historical perspective of the development of law, political factors influencing policies culminating into law and the intricate relationship between legislations and social problems.
  2. Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBA. LL.B) The course provides students with the knowledge of the law with the core understanding of management and business.

Admit Card:

  • Collect the admit card from the official website.
  • Make sure to take a coloured print out of the admit card.
  • Carry the admit card to the exam centre.
  • Check all the details mentioned in the admit card.

Make sure to carry admit card along with photo ID proof such as Passport / Driving License / Voter ID Card / Pan Card / AADHAR Card (UID) to the examination hall.

Exam Pattern:

  • SLAT 2022 will be an online exam.
  • Exam will have Objective Type Questions
  • Time duration will be 150 minutes (two and a half hours)
  • Paper will have 150 questions.
  • There will be no negative marking in the exam.

Exam Syllabus

  • Logical Reasoning will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Legal Reasoning will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Analytical Reasoning will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Reading Comprehension will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • General Knowledge will have 30 questions for 30 marks.

Exam Result:

SLAT 2022 result will be announced through the official website. Go to the official website on a fixed date and check the result.

Selection process:

After result declaration, the list of shortlisted candidates will appear for PI-WAT (Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test)

  • PI (Personal Interaction) will be for 30 Marks. Personal interaction of the shortlisted candidates will be commenced by a panel of experts from Industry / Academic.
  • WAT (Writing Ability Test) will be for 20 Marks. This test includes writing a short essay on the topic provided.
