DU LLM 2023 is an entrance test commenced for those who are looking forward to acquiring admission in LLM (Master of Laws) two-year course. The entrance test will be commenced by the University of Delhi in the month of June. The university provides admission to several 2 years of postgraduate law courses. Every year, the university provides 54 seats to eligible applicants based on the scores acquired in the entrance test. Furthermore, those who score well will seek admission to the university.

DU LLM 2023 Application Form & Fees:

  • Application forms will be provided via online mode.
  • It is necessary for applicants to first register themselves on the official website in order to fill the application form.
  • Authority will send the confirmation email to the candidates along with login credentials such as User Id and Password on the registered email Id.
  • After receiving the email, candidates will login to the official website via login credentials.
  • Fill the application form with academic and personal details.
  • After filling the application form, transfer the scanned copies of the photograph and signature wherever required.
  • After filling and uploading the documents pay the application fee.
  • Make a payment of the application fee using online or offline mode. Candidates will pay Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for SC, ST, PWD category entrants) as an application fee.
  • Take a print of the application form before making the final submission.

  • Self-attested copy of the certificate of class X
  • Self-attested copy of the certificate of class XII
  • Self-attested copy of the mark sheet of graduation
  • Self-attested copy of ID proof of the candidate
  • Latest passport-sized photograph

  • Self-attested copy of the Caste or Reservation Certificate (if required)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must have successfully completed a 3 or 5 years LLB degree from the University of Delhi or from any other recognized university.
  • Candidate from the General category must have acquired at least 50% marks in the qualifying test. However, reserved category applicants must have scored 45% marks in the qualifying test

Exam Pattern:

  • The question paper will be in the English language only.
  • The Paper will have Objective Type Questions.
  • The Paper will have 100 questions to be answered by candidates.
  • The exam will be conducted in online mode.
  • Paper will be for 400 marks.
  • Each question has a weightage of 4 marks along with this and a deduction of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
  • The candidate must finish off the paper within 120 minutes.
  • Paper will have the following subjects:

  • Aptitude and mental ability
  • English comprehension

Admit Card:

A candidate will able to collect the admit card for DU LLM 2023 only after applying successfully. The admit card is the most important document to carry to the examination centre while moving to attend the examination.

  • Fetch the admit card via online mode using the official website in the month of June.
  • Take a print of the admit card
  • This card contains information such as the name of the applicant, applicant’s roll number, exam day/date/time.
  • The candidate will not be permitted to appear in the examination without an admit card.

DU LLM Results & Merit List:

Exam results will be announced via the official website in the month of July. Take a copy of the result for further reference. The result will appear in PDF format. Candidates will receive a scorecard on their admission portals created on the official website of the University of Delhi. Those who score well will get a chance to seek admission in the course as the cutoff of Delhi University is always high. Admission in the DU LLM course will be done on the basis of the merit list released by the university.

Counselling:

  • The counselling process will begin in the month of August.
  • Counselling will take place in offline mode.
  • Candidate should be ready with some of the documents for fulfilling the verification purpose during counselling.
  • Carry original documents along during the counselling process.
  • Applicants will seek admission to the university after the document verification method gets over.
