UPPCL 2022 Application Fee:

All candidates applying for UPPCL Recruitment need to pay the application fees as mentioned below:

  • For native SC/ ST Candidates the application fee is Rs.826/- rupees
  • For candidates belonging to OBC/ General/ Ex-Servicemen of UP the application fee is Rs.1180/- rupees
  • Physically Challenged applicants the application fee is Rs.11/-
  • Outside UP candidates belonging to any category have to pay Rs.1180/-

Candidates have to pay the application fee using their ATM cum Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking etc. With the help of SBI Bank Challan, applicants can pay their application fees. The application fee is non-refundable.

UPPCL Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

  • The minimum age limit for UPPCL Recruitment is 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 40 years.

Academic Qualification

For the post of  Assistant Engineer (T)(Civil):

  • Candidates must have the knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering from a University OR Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other Institution recognized by the State Government, or a degree or Diploma recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government OR
  • Section- ‘A ’ and ‘B’ the Associate membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) OR
  • Be an Associate Member of the institution of Civil Engineers (London).

The Selection Process:

The Selection process is divided into two steps:

  • Computer Based Test
  • Personal Interviews.

Exam Pattern:

  • In the UPPCL Recruitment exam candidates need to answer 200 marks in 3 hours.
  • They need to answer 150 questions based on their previous degree.
  • For every accurate response, 1 mark will be awarded.
  • 0.25 will be subtracted for every incorrect entry.
  • Candidates need to score at least 30 % to get qualified for the next round.
  • 75% of questions shall be from the Bachelor of Engineering level, 10% questions of General Knowledge/Awareness, 10% questions of Reasoning/aptitude, and 5% questions of General Hindi.

Admit Card:

The admit card of UPPCL AE will be released via the official website. Download the Admit Card by using the user ID and password. Those who have submitted the application forms successfully will be able to download the admit card.

Salary:

Assistant Engineer (Trainee): As per the 7th pay commission (Pay Matrix Level 10, Rs.59500) Dearness and other allowances admissible as per UPPCL rules

Result:

The commission takes the responsibility to announce the result on the official website of UPPCL. Candidates can go to uppcl.org to check their results. By providing their date of birth and login id candidates can check their results. The login details are sent to the candidates immediately after registration on the mail id provided during the time of registration. Any candidate can get their login credentials from his or her email id even if he or she forgets it. Just after the Result are announced candidates will be called with their original documents for the verification round. This will be mailed to the successful candidates on their registered mail id. Candidates have to bring the following documents in the interview round:

  • One passport size photograph
  • Admit card photocopy
  • An identity proof the same as in the application form
  • Residential Certificate
  • Caste Certificate
  • Technical qualification certificate
  • Apprentice Certificate
  • Certificate of ex-serviceman

Cut off:

Irrespective of any caste or any other differences the cut-off marks remain the same for all. The cut-off is the minimum marks needed to qualify for the exam. Here the minimum qualifying score is 30%. Applicants scoring less than this percentage will not be qualified further.
