Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• Applicant must have completed a post-graduation degree in any discipline from some recognized university/institution to seek admission in the institution.
• For some other courses, it is crucial that applicants must have completed B.Sc. Nursing course and M.Sc. Nursing courses from the recognized nursing institution.
• Candidate must have completed post-graduation in Physics/ Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Nanoscience/ Nanotechnology in any area of biological science from some recognized university.

Qualifying Marks:

• Reserved category candidates must have attained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates belonging to the general category must have attained above 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
• However, marks relaxation of 5% to the reserved category applicants such as SC/ST category will be given.

Appearing Applicants: Those who are appearing in their final year of the qualifying examination may also apply for admission

Scorecard: Those who hold the relevant score of the UGC NET/CSIR/JRF exam may also apply for the course

• English (M.A.) – The minimum percentage is graduation in any discipline
• Gujarati (M.A.) – The candidate must have done graduation in any discipline
• German (B.A.) – An Intermediate or Equivalent (10+2) may apply for the course
• Chinese (B.A.) – An Intermediate or Equivalent (10+2) is considered eligible to apply.
• Industrial Chemistry (M.Sc.) – If the applicant has done B.Sc. in Chemistry with 50% aggregate marks then he/she may apply for the course. 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Differently-Abled candidates may also apply.
• Chemical Sciences (M.Phil. -Ph.D.) – The minimum qualification is post graduation/M.Tech in any the stream of Chemical Sciences may apply.
• Chemical Sciences (M.Sc.) – The applicant must have done graduation in any discipline of sciences
• Life Sciences (M.Phil. -Ph.D.) – The candidate must have done postgraduation in Biological Sciences to apply for the course.
• Life Sciences (M.Sc.) requires candidates to be undergraduate (B.Sc.) with Physics/Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Mathematics with 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled candidates)
• Environment & Sustainable Development (M.Phil. -Ph.D.) – Applicant must have done post graduation in any discipline of sciences
• Environmental Sciences (M.Sc.) – Candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline of sciences
• Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Library & Information Management (P.G.D.L.I.M) – Candidate must have done M. Lib. I. Sc. with Professional Library Experience
