Steps To Apply for CET Delhi 2024 Application Form:

  • Visit the official website.
  • On the homepage, click on the registration link.
  • Then enter your name, email id, working mobile number and click submit button.
  • Now choose the course.
  • Then click on the login and enter your login ID and password.
  • Fill in details i.e. name, qualification, address, gender, date of birth, city, etc.
  • Click on the save and continue button.
  • Now click on the choose file button.
  • Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature.
  • After that click on the payment button.
  • Take the printout of the filled application form.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Engineering & Technology based Diploma Courses:

  • To apply for this, the candidate must have passed class 10th or some other equivalent examination commenced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with at least 35% aggregate marks in Science, Mathematics, and English.
  • It is mandatory for the candidate to acquire subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and English and the applicant needs to pass each one of them.

For Pharmacy courses:

  • Candidate must have successfully completed class 10th or some other equivalent examination commenced by CBSE.
  • Candidates must have attained at least 45% and 40% for SC/ST category candidates aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

Exam Pattern:

  • Mode of Exam: Pen and paper-based.
  • Exam Duration: The test will continue for 150 minutes.
  • No of Questions: There will be 150 objective-type questions with four options.
  • Types of Questions: There will be Multiple Choice Questions in the question paper.
  • Medium: Tests 2 and 3 are based on English and Hindi language respectively but other tests will be bilingual i.e. both Hindi and English.
  • Marking: The candidate will get 4 marks for every correct answer and there will be a deduction of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.

Test No. Questions/Subject for Entrance Tests

  • Test 1 will consist of Mathematics with 50 Questions, Physics with 40 Questions, Chemistry with 30 Questions, Biology with15 Questions, and English with15 Questions.
  • Test 2 will comprises of Comprehension of English including Grammar with 60 Questions of class XII level, Knowledge of Current Affairs with 45 Questions, and Logical & Analytical Ability with 45 Questions.
  • Test 3 consisted of Comprehension of Hindi including Grammar with 60 Questions of class XII level, Knowledge of Current Affairs with 45 Questions, and Logical & Analytical Ability with 45 Questions.
  • Test 4 will be consisted of Physics with 45 Questions, Chemistry with 45 Questions & Mathematics with 60 Questions, or Biology with 60 Questions according to the CBSE syllabus.
  • Test 5 will consist of Physics with 60 Questions, Mathematics with 60 Questions, and Chemistry with 30 Questions.

Syllabus:

Delhi CET 2024 Exam will consist of total 5 tests:

  • Test 1: It will cover the various topics from Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English and Biology subjects.
  • Test II: Logical & analytical ability, comprehension & grammar, knowledge of current affairs & English.
