Goa TET 2023Goa TET 2023: Goa Teachers Eligibility Test aims at building a career in teaching. The government of Goa will employ the talented and dynamic candidates to fill jobs for Upper Primary (Classes VI to VIII) and Lower Primary (Classes I to V) Teachers. Before you apply for any of the posts make sure for collecting all the required details which are necessary. This is a state-level examination handed over to the SCERT or State Council for Educational Research and Training. It is mandatory for candidates to successfully clear TET for teachers who have a diploma in education, but is not essential for teachers who possess a degree in education.

TET helps in testing the teaching ability of the candidate in the specific subject. NCTE or National Council for Teacher Education ensures that TET standards are high similarly in the case of NET.

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility for Paper I (Classes I-V):

  • Candidate must have successfully passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination.
  • Those who are in their final 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education can also apply for the examination

OR

  • An applicant with BA / B.Sc. and B.Ed qualification can also apply for the exam.

Eligibility for Paper-II (Classes VI-VIII):

  • Candidate must have successfully completed B.A./B.Sc
  • Those who are appearing in the final 2-year D.Ed. / B.A. /B.Sc. and passed will appear for the exam.
  • Those who are appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary will also apply for the examination.
  • Passed or appearing in final 4-year (B.El.Ed) / B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / 4-year BA/ B.Ed. (Special Education).

Goa TET 2023 Application Process:

Given below are the details of the Goa TET 2023 application form:

  • First go to the official site www.education.goa.gov.in via online mode.
  • Then register with the valid E-mail Id and mobile number
  • After that log in the Registration process
  • Log in back with relevant username and password in order to access the Application form
  • Fill all the details in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned copy of the photograph as well as signature.
  • Pay the application fee via any of the modes – online or offline.
  • Verify the details and press the ‘Submit’ button
  • Take the printout of the same and send it to the District Education Officer.
  • Candidate must be a resident of Goa.
  • There will 5% age relaxation for reserved category candidates and State Govt. Regulations.
  • Candidate’s age must be at least 18 years as on date of application.

Goa TET 2023 Exam Pattern:

  • Goa TET 2023syllabus comprises of two objective type question papers.
  • Every paper will consist of 150 MCQs
  • Every question will consist of 1 mark.

Given below is the information about question papers:

Structure And Content (mandatory):

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks

Exam duration will be 150 minutes

  • Child Development & Pedagogy (mandatory) will have 30 MCQs for 30 Marks
  • Language I (compulsory) will have 30 MCQs for 30 Marks
  • Language II (compulsory) will have 30 MCQs for 30 Marks
  • For Maths and Science teacher: Mathematics and Science
  • For Social Studies/Social Science teacher: Social Science
  • For any other teacher: either (a) or (b) 60 questions for 60 marks

Admit Card:

Download the official website via online mode. Applicants must use the application number to download the Hall Ticket.

Exam Result:

The results of Goa TET 2023will declare on the official website. Candidate can make use of the application/admit card number to seek the scores attained in the exam. Also, check the merit list from the official website as soon as the results are announced. Candidates will be shortlisted for another level based on the merit list.

Cut Off:

Examination results and cut-off marks will release in the month of November 2023.
