GSSSB Recruitment 2023: Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) aims at conducting GSSSB Recruitment 2023 for jobs under the fields such as Sub Inspector, Sub Accountant & Other Posts. To apply for the recruitment candidates must have comprehensive information such as application process, application fee, eligibility criteria, examination pattern, etc.

GSSSB Recruitment 2023 Application Form:

To start the recruitment process, fill the Application form online mode. Here are the steps to fill the application form:

  • First, go to the official website of GSSSB.
  • A Home Page will appear on the screen.
  • Here, locate and download the official notifications about the post.
  • Go through the instructions before applying for the post.
  • Click on the “Apply Online” link as per the post.
  • In the case of the new user, fulfill the registration process by providing the details such as the Candidate’s Name, Gender, D.O.B, Email Id, Phone Number, etc.
  • The username, Application Number, and password will be sent to the registered Email ID or Mobile Number.
  • Login to the account using login credentials.
  • Complete the Application form by filling in the important details
  • Upload the scanned copies of the documents in the prescribed format and size.
  • Pay the application fee as prescribed i.e. Rs 100 (check the category before paying the fee)
  • Click the “Submit” tab to pay the fee
  • Download the application form in PDF format.
  • Make sure to take the print of the application form for further reference.

GSSSB Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Deputy Inspector:

  • Candidate must be possessed with the degree from any University
  • There should be basic knowledge of computer applications mentioned in the Gujarat civil Service classification
  • Besides this, the applicant must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi or both
  • The candidate’s age should not be less than 21 years or more than 35 years.

Sub Inspector Instructor:

  • Candidate must be possessed with the Degree from any of the Universities
  • Applicant must have a “C” level certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC).
  • Basic Knowledge of the computer application is required
  • Candidate must have a valid driving license for a light motor vehicle and must have 2 years experience of driving on the date of appointment;
  • Knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi or both is mandatory.

Havaldar Instructor:

  • Candidate must have the degree of any of the Universities possess “C” level certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC).
  • Knowledge of the computer application is mandatory
  • A valid driving license for a light motor vehicle and have along with 2 years experience of driving as on the date of appointment is a must
  • Knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi languages or both is mandatory.

Sub Accountant/Sub Auditor:

  • Candidate must have done Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Science (Mathematics/ Statistics) or Bachelor of Arts (Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics) obtained from an established University
  • The candidate’s age must be 35 years at least

Head Clerk:

  • Graduation is the minimum educational eligibility
  • The candidate’s age should be 35 years at least

Senior Scientific Assistant:

  • Candidate must have done Civil Engineering Technology and must have knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi or both
  • The minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 35 years

Additional Assistant Engineer (Mech)

  • Mechanical/Automobile Engineering possess the basic knowledge of computer application
  • It is mandatory to know Gujarati or Hindi or else both languages

Chemical Assistant

  • Candidate must have done graduation in Science with Chemistry
  • In addition to this, Basic computer knowledge is also a requirement
  • Languages known should be Gujarati or Hindi or even both
  • The minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 35 years

Horticulture Inspector:

  • Candidate must have completed Diploma in Horticulture
  • Also, the applicant must know the languages such as Gujarati or Hindi or even both of them.
  • Minimum age 18 years and maximum should be 35

Sanitary Inspector:

  • Applicant must have cleared class XII and must have cleared Health Sanitary Inspector Course
  • Languages known should be Hindi/Gujarati or both

Wiremen:

  • Must have completed Wireman/ Electrician in ITI
  • Languages known should be Hindi/Gujarati or both
  • Minimum age 18 years and maximum should be 35

Manager Grade-2 (Guest house / Rest House Manager)

  • Applicant must have done Hotel Management/ Hotel Management And Catering Technology in Diploma / Hospitality And Hotel Administration Degree / Bachelor of Arts
  • Minimum age 18 years and maximum should be 37 years

Selection Process:

Candidates need to go through the selection process for GSSSB Recruitment 2023. The procedure comprises of

  • Preliminary Examination (OMR)
  • Physical Efficiency Test/ Skill Test
  • Main Exam (Written Test)

Written Test:

In the written test, the candidate will go attempt 4 papers and the information of the same as follows:

  • Paper-I: First Paper will be for General Engineering (Electrical, Civil) for 75 marks and the time duration to complete the paper is 180 minutes.
  • Paper-II: Second paper will be for Sub Divisional Works Accounts. Candidate needs to complete this paper in 180 minutes and it will be for 75 marks
  • Paper-III: The Third paper will be for Special Subject Water Supply or Sanitation Engineering (or) Mechanical Engineering & Bore Drilling Technology. The candidate will get 3 hours to complete 75 questions in this category
  • Paper-IV: The last and fourth paper will be for Practical Drawing (Electrical, Civil). This will be consisted of 25 questions and the candidate will get 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete this paper.

Practical Test:

  • For General Engineering (Electrical, Civil), there will be a practical test for 75 marks

Viva Voce:

Admit Card:

Candidates are required to download the admit card using online mode. Enter the login credentials and download the admit card in PDF format. The admit card provides information about exam schedule. No candidate is allowed in the exam without admit card.

Result:

After attempting the written test and practical test, the final merit list will be prepared. This list consisted of the names of the candidates selected for the post. However, for some of the posts, the applicant needs to appear in the Interview. To check the result, use the official website.
