GUJCET 2022: Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is a state-level examination. The entrance test is controlled by Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). The candidates successfully qualifying for GUJCET 2022 would be able to get admission in engineering & technology (BE/B.Tech) and pharmacy (degree/diploma) courses. The candidates can get admission through this test in government and non-government institutions all over Gujarat. The entrance examination is most likely to get scheduled in May. 7th February 2022: The last date to apply for GUJCET 2022 Application Form is 9th February 2022.
25th January 2022: GUJCET 2022 Application Form has been released on 25th January 2022.
24th January 2022: GUJCET 2022 Notification has been released. The Application form will release on 25th January 2022.

GUJCET 2022 Application Form:

The candidates can obtain the GUJCET 2022 Registration Application Form online mode through the official website. Those who are interested in filling the form can fill the form and submit it.

In the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal and educational details and register themselves by that.
After that log in using the registration ID and password sent to you in message and Email.
Fill in the rest of the details and upload the scanned photographs and signatures in your application form.
After providing all the necessary details recheck the details before you submit them.
Submit the application fee.
For all the candidates the Application Fee will be Rs.300/-.
Take out the printout of the application form and keep it safe with them in case of future use.

GUJCET Application Fees:

The application form fee is Rs. 300/- only. The Application Fee can be paid by both methods i.e, Online, or Offline method. The application fee is often remitted online by debit/credit card or internet banking. The applying fee may also be paid through e-challan/payment slip of SBI bank.

Gujarat CET Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates interested to apply for the examination need to check the GUJCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for the examination first before they apply. Only those candidates who are completely eligible apply for the application form. The form must be filled with awareness because any wrong detail found in the application form at any stage may lead to the rejection of the candidate.

Nationality– The candidates should be Indian citizens.
State Eligibility– The candidate must have a domicile of Gujarat state.

For Engineering:

Qualifying Exam: The candidates should have passed the 12th exam from any recognized board.
Subjects: The candidates must have mandatory subjects like Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects.
Minimum Marks: The candidate must have passed with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST & SEBC category).
The Candidates appearing in the 12th examination can also apply.

For Pharmacy Courses:

Qualifying Exam: The candidates should have passed the 12^th exam from any recognized board.
Subjects: The candidates must have mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.
Minimum Marks: The candidate must have passed with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST & SEBC category).

For Diploma Course:

Qualifying Exam: The candidates should have passed the 12th exam from any recognized board.
Subjects: Candidates must pass the above examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology.

GUJCET Exam Pattern:

The pattern of the GUJCET 2022 examination is given below.

Mode of examination: Offline Mode.
Duration of examination: 3 hours.
Language: English, Hindi & Gujarati
Type of questions: Objective type (MCQ).
A total number of questions: 40 multiple questions will be asked from each subject.
Total marks: 120 marks.
Marking scheme:1 marks for each correct answer and -0.25 for each incorrect answer

GUJCET Syllabus 2022:

The syllabus of GUJCET 2022 will be based on the curriculum of the 11th and 12th standards. The topics in the examination will be subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology will be covered under the exam syllabus.

Physics:

Electric Charge & Electric Field, Electrostatic Potential & Capacitance, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Electric Current, Magnetism & Matter, Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Current, Electro-Magnetic Waves, Ray Optics, Wave Optics, Dual Nature of Radiation & Matter, Atoms, Nucleus, Semi-Conductor Electronics, & Communication System.

Chemistry:

Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements, P-Block Elements – II, Halo Alkanes and Halo Arenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, f Block Elements, Complex Salts or Co-ordination Compound, Aldehydes, Ketones, and Carboxylic Acids, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Polymers, & Chemistry in Everyday Life.

Mathematics:

Complex Numbers, Definite Integration, Indefinite Integration, Limit, Matrices Determinants, Permutation & Combination, Probability, Sets, Relations & Functions, Theory of Equations, Three Dimensional Geometry, & Vectors.

Admit Card:

The GUJCET admit card 2022 will be released on August 2022 through online mode. The candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website. The admit card will not be sent by post or any other means. The candidate will have to carry their admit card to the examination hall as the entry will be provided to the candidates having Gujarat CET Admit Card along with them. Also, carry some ID proof along.

Steps to Download GUJCET 2022 Admit Card:

First, visit the official website.
Then a new page will be opened on the screen.
After that candidates can download the admit card by entering the application number or name.
Enter the generated captcha and click on the “Search” button.
The admit card will be displayed on your computer screen.
Then check the details mentioned in the admit card and click on the print button.

Answer Key:

GUJCET 2022 ProAnswer key will be released in August 2022 and the final answer is releasing in August 2022. The answer key will be available via online mode only.

How to Download GUJCET 2022 Answer Key:

Visit the official website.
Then on the home page link will be available to download the Answer key of GUJCET 2022.
After that click on the set of the subject and the Answer key will open in PDF format.
Then the answer key will be displayed and click on the download option.

Result:

The result of GUJCET Result 2022 will be announced on September 2022 on the official website. The candidates can check the result by entering their application number and password. The candidates who successfully qualify the exam will be called for attending the counseling process.

Steps to Download Result:

Go to the official website.
Then a new page will be opened on the screen.
After that enter the Details.
Now, click on the ‘Go’ button.
The result will be displayed on the screen.
Download the pdf and take the printout of the result.

Counseling:

After the qualifying of the examination candidates will have to undergo the counseling process. It will be conducted in online mode. Before appearing in the counseling the candidates will have to get an Information booklet and PIN from any of the designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank.

At the time of counseling, the candidates will have to select choices of courses & colleges as per their preferences. The seat will be allotted to the candidates based on filled choices, cut off, merit, reservation, etc.
