To attain admission in PHD courses specialization in Engineering and Applied Sciences, Agriculture and Allied Sciences, Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Humanities, Management and Social Sciences, candidate must have done post-graduation in Arts, Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Psychology, Biotechnology or Business, Management and Agriculture, etc with at least 55% marks or minimum ‘B’ grade for unreserved category and minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade for the reserved category.

About TNU Entrance Test:

The University commences the entrance examination to seek admission in various UG courses.

  • First level of the test (Test 1) is compulsory for candidates applying for an undergraduate course such as B.Tech/ B.Sc/ B.A/ BBA, Integrated BBA LLB(Hons.), Integrated B.A with LLB (Hons.). The aim of the test is to assess aptitude, tenacity, creativity, logical and analytical abilities, and communication skills. The test time duration is one hour.
  • Those who are willing to join B.Tech and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) programs need to appear in the second level of the test (Test 2). This test aims at evaluating the candidate’s knowledge of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM). The questions are based on 10th to 12th class standards. The time of exam time duration is half an hour.

  2. After this, register with the e-mail ID and active mobile number.
  3. Once the registration is over, the candidate is required to validate the e-mail ID with the verification code sent by the university.
  4. Now, login using the registration credentials and fill the application form correctly.
  5. Once the form is filled, submit it.
