Rajasthan TET 2023Rajasthan TET 2023: TET is an examination that is conducted by the board of secondary education, Rajasthan. This examination is conducted in order to shortlist the candidates for the post of both upper primaries as well as primary teachers in the government schools of Rajasthan. There is also an eligibility test conducted in an offline mode. Before a candidate applies for this examination, it is important for him or her to appear for the eligibility test.

Eligibility Criteria:

Classes I to Classes V:

  • For becoming teachers from classes I to classes V the candidate has to complete the higher secondary examination with a minimum of 50% marks and also complete a minimum 2-year diploma in elementary education or even a 4-year bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Even candidates who have completed a 2 years diploma in special education will be eligible.
  • Again candidates who have passed the higher secondary education with a minimum of 45% marks and have also completed a 2-year diploma in elementary education as per the NCTE will also be eligible to appear.
  • Graduate candidates who have completed a 2 years diploma in elementary education will also be eligible to apply.

Classes VI to VIII:

  • Candidates have to clear the Higher Secondary examination with a minimum of 50% marks and have also completed a 4 years Bachelors’s degree in Elementary education or even a 4-year B.A/BscEd or B.A.Ed/BscEd can also apply for the TET examination.
  • Those candidates who have completed a graduation degree along with a 2-year degree in elementary education will be eligible to appear for this particular examination.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50 % marks and have also completed a 1-year B.ed degree will also be eligible for appearing in the TET examination.
  • The candidates who should have a Graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks and have also completed a one year B.Ed degree as per the NCTE will also be eligible to apply.

Rajasthan TET 2023 Syllabus:

There are 2 levels in education and the syllabus for level 1 is as follows:

  • Pedagogy and Child Development
  • Language 1 that will include English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujrati, Sindhi or Urdu
  • Language 2 that will include English, Punjabi, Gujrati, Urdu and also English
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental Studies

The syllabus for the Level 2 examination is as follows:

  • Mathematics and Science
  • Social Studies
  • Language 1 and Language 2
  • Child Development and Pedagogy

Rajasthan TET 2023 Application Form:

You will have to visit the official website and then fill up the application form. The candidate has to fill up both the academic as well as personal details. The candidate will also have to upload the scanned copy of the signature along with the scanned copy of the photograph.  Once all the details in the application form are filled up, the candidate will have to submit it along with the fee that is mentioned. Once the application fee is submitted the candidate will be able to download the application fee. The application fee for paper 1 or paper 2 will be Rs.550 for level 1. For level 2, the application fee for both paper 1 and also paper 2 will be Rs.750/-.

Exam Pattern:

The examination paper of RTET 2023  will consist of multiple-choice questions and each of the questions will have a total of 4 alternatives. These questions will each carry 1 mark and there will not be any negative marking. There will be a total of 2 Levels. For level 1 there will be a total of 150 questions that you will have to attend. These will comprise of a total of five sections. The total duration will be 90 minutes.

For level 2 the candidate will have to attend a total of 150 multiple choice questions that will consist of a total of five sections. This is a 90 minutes question paper and it consists of a total of four sections with three sections consisting of 30 questions each and the fourth section consisting of 60 questions. Each of these questions will carry one mark and there will also not be any negative marking for the wrong answer.

Admit Card:

The candidate will be able to download the admit card from the official website. This will be issued 15 days before the date of the examination. The candidate will have to take a print of the admit card. This admits card will contain all the details including personal details, Roll number, name, father’s name, date of the examination, venue and also the time of the examination.

Result:

The results will be published on the official website and the candidates will be able to check the result by clicking in the link that is there on the official website. The candidate will have to put the roll number in order to check the result.
