Sikkim TET 2022Sikkim TET 2022 is commenced by the Human Resource Development Department, Sikkim in under the Right of children to free Education (RTE Act 2009). The examination is commenced to recruit candidates on the post of teachers in the state of Sikkim. STET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

For Paper-I:

  • Candidates must have passed HSC with at least 50% marks within the final year of D.EI.Ed.
  • Candidates must have successfully cleared HSC with at least 50% marks in B.Ed.

For Paper-II:

  • Candidates must have completed B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks years D.EI.Ed.
  • The candidate must have successfully cleared B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks in B.Ed.

  • Child development and pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Language II will have 30 questions for 30 marks

Admit Card:

  • Candidates must have an Admit card because it is an important document to carry at the exam centre.
  • Collect admit card from the official website
  • You will be able to collect admit card a week prior the examination.
  • Keep print of the admit card to be carried at the exam center.
  • This card consisted of information such as Exam day, date, and timings. Also, you will also get info about the Exam venue.

Exam Result:

  • Exam result will be announced few days after exam gets over.
  • Result will be declared through the official web site.
  • Use the Registration number on the official portal to catch the result.
  • Those who successfully clear the entrance examination will move for a personal round interview.

Selection Procedure:

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of performance in written Examination.
  • Those who will be shortlisted on the basis of marks attained in the entrance exam will be selected further for Personal Interview.

The validity of the STET Certificate:

Those who clear the exam will get certificate that will be valid for the period of seven years from the date of the result announcement for all class candidates.

Number of Attempts: Candidate can appear more than once for making improvements in the scores.

Sikkim TET Qualifying Marks:

Those who score 60% or more in STET exam will be considered applicable to attain a job in Sikkim Govt. There will be a concession of 50 in STET belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., according to the extant reservation policy.
