TGCET 2023: Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test for class 5^th held every year. This examination is undergone under the Telangana government. It is state level examination. Students who want to take admission for the in the class 5^th can check eligibility criteria and apply for the examination. They provide admission for the different institution comes under the Telangana state.  Application form availability starts from March month. Students can check official notifications online through the official website. TGCET 2023 Application Form:

Students can fill the application form online. It is available on the official website. The month of March can be available on the website. It can be filled till the last date in the month of May.  It is advisable to fill application form before the last date to avoid risk.

Application Fee:

• The application fee can be filled online by using an online payment gateway like debit card/ credit card/ Net Banking/ UPI/ other payment wallets.
• Application fee for every category of the candidates has to pay 50/- Rs.
• It is suggested to pay the application fee before the last date of submission.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students must have to check eligibility criteria before applying for the examination.  Eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Students must have passed class 4^th from any government or recognize board of the Telangana state.
• As per age criteria, students must have above the age of 9 years as on 1^st September 2023 at the time of admission.
• Students who are below the age of 11 years as of 31^st August 2023 at the time of admission are also eligible to appear in the entrance test.
• For the reserved category, the candidate must be below 13 years at the time of admission.
• For SC/ST category candidates they will get 2 years of age relaxation in the upper age limit.
• The annual income of the parents of the students from Rural backgrounds must be less than Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.
• The annual income of the parents of the students from Urban backgrounds must be less than Rs. 2,00,000 per annum.

Examination Pattern:

• The examination will be a completely offline mode
• There are a total of 100 questions will be asked in the test
• Total for of the question paper is 100
• Total time duration for the test will be 2 hours
• Multiple choice type questions will be asked
• At each correct answer, you will get one mark and zero marks will be awarded for not attempted question or wrong answer
• Question paper is divided into four parts
• English subject contains 25 questions with 25 marks
• Mathematics subject contains 25 questions with 25 marks
• Telugu subject contains 25 questions with 25 marks
• Environmental Science subject contains 25 questions with 25 marks

TGCET Syllabus 2023:

The syllabus of the examination will be based on the previous class subject topics. Students are suggested to prepare according to the topics which are covered in the previous class. Prepare according to the subjects provides in the examination pattern. For the English subject prepare with basic grammar, spelling correction, paragraph making, synonyms, antonyms, sentence making, fill in the blanks, match the following, etc. for Telugu subjects prepare according to the basic Telugu language speaking, word meaning, etc. In mathematics subjects prepare according to the basic calculations, what’s come next, series completion, fill in the blanks, etc. In environmental science prepare according to everyday use of science, trees, plants, ecosystem, soil, plains, rivers, rainwater, ocean, evaporation, photosynthesis, etc:

Admit Card:

After the submission of application forms admit card will be released. Download the application from the official website of the TGCET. You can download it by using the application number and date of birth as a password.  It is mandatory to bring admit card to the examination hall without it you are not able to get entry in the examination hall.

Result:

Result of the examination was released online on the official website. You can check and download by using the roll number and password. On the basis of the total score of students, merit list will be prepared. The selection of the candidates depends upon the name in the merit list.

TGCET 2023 Selection and Admission:

Total 603 Gurukuls comes under the TGCET Telangana state. The number of seats for the class 5^th are 46,937. The number of seats arises due to the increase in the number of candidates applied. On the basis of the merit list, you will get admission to the schools under the Telangana Gurukuls. Counseling sessions will be arranged by the authority. Students will have to appear in the counseling by completing the registration process. After registration, you will get the dates and times of the counseling. On the basis of the score got in the test the examination authority will allow the schools to the students. You are suggested to bring all required documents at the time of counseling.
