TSPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2023 Application Process:

The application form for TSPSC Group 4 will be released in June every year. Interested applicants may apply for the post after checking the eligibility criteria. The application process will be an online procedure. Here are the steps to fill the application form.

TSPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Those who are applying for the post under TNSPC Group under Group 4 need to check the eligibility criteria. The details about the eligibility are as follows:

Nationality:

Candidates must be either of the following:

  • A Citizen of India
  • A Citizen of Nepal
  • A Citizen of Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention to stay permanently
  • Of Indian origin who has migrated from countries such as Myanmar, Vietnam, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, and Ethiopia to stay permanently.
  • Candidates under categories II to V must be possessed with the certificate of eligibility provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Age Limit:

Check the given below age criteria:

  • Village Administrative Officer: Applicant’s age should be between 21 – 30 years. However, for the reserved category, the applicable age should be less than 40 years.
  • Junior Assistant (Non- Security), Junior Assistant (Security), Bill Collector (Grade I), Field Surveyor, Draftsmen, Typist, and Steno-Typist (Grade II) – the minimum age should be 18 and maximum 30 years. However, upper age relaxation will be given to the candidates

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is offered to the candidates from the reserved category on different posts.

  • Village Administrative Officer: SC/ ST/ OBC/ MVC category 45 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 48 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen (SC/SC/ST/MBC/BC/ BSM) – 53 Years
  • Other Group 4 Posts (SC/ ST/ Destitute Widows) – 35 Years
  • MBC/BC/Denotified Communities: 32 Years
  • Trained in ITI (For Field Surveyor & Draftsman) – 35 Years

Educational Qualification:

The post wise educational qualification is as follows:

Village Administrative Officer: Applicant must have cleared SSLC Public Exam or its equivalent and be eligible for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or College courses.

Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Field Surveyor, and Draftsman: Applicant must have cleared the Minimum General Educational Qualification like such as successful completion of SSLC Public Exam or equivalent and should be eligible for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or College courses.

Typist: Applicants must have cleared SSLC Public Examination or equivalent and should be eligible for admission to Secondary Courses of Studies or College courses. Also, applicants must have cleared the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:

  • By Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and English
  • By Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English
  • By Higher/Senior Grade in English and Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil.

Steno-Typist Grade III:

Applicants must have cleared the SSLC Public Exam or its equivalent exam with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or College Courses. They must have cleared the Government Technical Exam in Typewriting and Shorthand, both:

  • By Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and English
  • By Higher/ Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English
  • By Higher/Senior Grade in English and Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil

Applicants must have also cleared the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.

Exam Pattern:

The TNPSC Group 4 examination will be commenced in the offline mode. The Paper will consist of three sections – General Studies, Aptitude, Mental Ability, and General Tamil. There will be no negative marking on paper. Here are the details about the same:
