ACET 2022: The ACET is Actuarial Common Entrance Test and this is actually the entrance test for the candidates who are interested in pursuing a course in actuarial sciences. The candidates who are able to qualify for this particular examination will be eligible for the student membership IAI. This is an examination that is conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India. This examination has undergone a number of changes from the year 2012.

If you successfully register for the ACET examination, you will be getting a confirmation call. You will also be getting an email in your registered email id confirming your registration. It will also provide you with a link that will help you to proceed to the next step. You will have to upload the photo and will also have to make the fee payment.

ACET 2022 Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for ACET, there are a few eligibility criteria that the candidate has to fulfill.

• The candidate will have to appear for the 10+2 or any other equivalent examination. He or she also needs to have English as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level.
• The IAI has also clearly mentioned that the candidates who have qualified for the ACET and also want to get the membership, needs to submit an attested copy of their certificates. These will also be based on independent verification.

ACET 2022 Exam Pattern:

The candidates will have to answer multiple-choice questions and each of these questions will have one correct answer. The total marks for this examination will be 100 and the exam duration will be for 3 hours. This is an online examination and there will be multiple-choice questions. There will be a total of 45 questions in the first section and each of these questions will carry 1 mark each. In the second section, there will be a total of 20 questions and each of these questions will carry 2 marks each. There will be a total of 5 questions in the third section and each of the questions will be 3 marks each.

ACET 2022 Syllabus:

There will be a total of two sections. The questions will be based on Data Interpretation, Mathematics and Statistics. The questions in the second section will be based on Logical Reasoning and English.

The topics that would be included under each of the subjects are given below:

• Mathematics – Matrices and Vectors, Algebra, Differentiation, Notation and Standard functions, Numerical Methods.
• Statistics – Measures of speed and location, discrete random variables and distributions, Types of data, Regression and co-relation.
• Data Interpretation – Bar graphs, line chart, pie chart, venn diagrams etc.
• English – English grammar, Fill in the blanks, verbal reasoning and sentences correction
• Logical Reasoning – Calendars, blood relations, clocks, cube, etc.

ACET 2022 Application Form:

You will be able to get the application form online from the month of December for the candidates appearing for the ACET examination in February. The candidates who will be appearing for the examination in the month of June will be able to get the application form from the month of February. The candidates will also have to upload the signature and also the scanned photographs when filling up the application form. It is also essential for the candidate to take a print out of the form.

Application Fee:

The candidates will be able to pay the application fee through their debit or credit cards and the payment mode will be online. For all the categories the fee will be Rs.3000. This would include the indicative solution and sample papers.

Admit Card

You will be able to get the admit card online. The admit card for the June session will be available from the second week of June. The candidates who will be appearing for the December session will be able to get the admit card from the first week of December. In the examination center, the candidates will have to carry a photo id proof along with the admit card. The candidates who are studying in class XII will have to carry the admit card for class XII or a school Id card that will have his or her photograph. Without these documents, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

ACET 2022 Result:

In order to view the result, the candidate will have to login with the details. The result will be only available online and a print out of this will not be sent to the institutes. The result for the candidates appearing in the month of June will be declared in the month of July. The results for the candidates appearing in December will be out in the month of January. If the candidate wants to take membership in IAI, then he or she has to take it within 3 years of the declaration of the result.

ACET 2022 Cut Off:

In order to qualify for this examination, the candidate will have to get at least 50% marks. The candidates who score 50% or above will be called for counseling and the other procedures of admission.

ACET 2022 Answer Key:

The candidates will be able to download the answer key from the official website. This will help the candidates to calculate how much they will score in the examination and prepare accordingly.
