APRCET 2023: APRCET is shortened for Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test commenced every year at the state level. The exam is conducted once a year on behalf of APSCHE by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. The aim of the examination is to provide admission to the courses such as MPhil and Ph.D. proffered at 14 different universities located in Andhra Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria:

Those who are willing to appear in this examination must check the eligibility conditions at least once. It is for the smooth functioning of the application process. Ineligible candidates will be disqualified for the exam. Check the eligibility criteria:

  • There is no age limit to apply for APRCET 2023 exam.
  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Make sure to choose the criteria according to the course. Two types of courses are available – Full Time and Part Time.
  • Applicants belonging to General Category must have attained at least 55% marks in the qualifying exam and reserved category applicants will get a relaxation of 5% marks.
  • To apply for Full-Time Course, the candidate must be possessed a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from some recognized university. It is a must to attain minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exam and reserved category may apply with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
  • To apply for Part-Time Course, applicant must be the regular faculty working in the Post Graduate centres of the University. Those who are eligible for full-time course may pursue a part-time course as well.
  • Those who are working in Post Graduate and professional colleges must have completed two years of services. And those faculties working in the Polytechnic or private junior college must have completed four years of service.

After checking the eligibility conditions, you can apply for the test using an easy process:

  1. First provide the details such as name, date of birth etc and register for the entrance test. Now, note the login credentials generated on successful registration.
  2. In the next step, pay the Application Fee
  3. Once the fee is paid, start filling in the details in the Application Form with personal and qualification details
  4. Upload the scanned copy of latest photograph and signature as per the specifications given by the authority.
  5. The applicants must preview the information entered in the application form before making final submission

Exam Pattern:

Those who are preparing for the examination must check the question paper pattern and marking scheme below:

  • There will be multiple Choice questions in the paper
  • Candidate will receive 1 mark for every correct answer
  • On every incorrect answer there will be -1/6
  • Paper will be consisted of two parts Part A & Part B
  • Part A-Teaching and Research Aptitude for 90 marks
  • Part B-Subject-Specific Questions for 90 marks

Admit Card:

Those who have submitted the application card successfully will download the hall ticket using online mode. Download the hall ticket by entering the login credentials such as application number and date of birth. Admit card/hall ticket is the most important document required to enter in the examination centre. Admit card comprises of personal information and exam details. The admission will be granted if the candidate appears with admit card. After downloading the admit card, check all the information in it to avoid any inconvenience. And in case of any discrepancy in the admit card, contact the official authority immediately. Here are the steps to download admit card:

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Now, go on the homepage and click ‘Download Hall ticket for APRCET 2023” link. This will redirect you to the new page.
  3. Enter the login credentials such as mobile number and date of birth.
  4. The admit card will appear on the screen.
  5. Check all the information and download the admit for further reference

Answer Key:

The exam conducting authority will release the Answer Key on the official website. Applicants can challenge the application key if they are dissatisfied with any answer after paying the amount to the authority. In addition to the amount, aspirants will submit the proof of challenging the answer key.

Exam Result:

The exam result will be announced in the online mode. Those who secure 50% marks in the entrance test may appear in the next round. The exam result will appear in the PDF format. Check the marks secured in the examination result in the online mode. Hard copy will not be provided of the exam result. Those who clear the entrance test will appear for the selection rounds.

Selection Process:

The shortlisted applicants will appear in the admission process. Go through the admission procedure according to the university norms. The common process comprises of written test, qualifying marks, interview and final list. Only Shortlisted applicants will appear for the oral interview round in which officials assess the communication as well as presentation skills. The merit list will be published which will be consisted of the shortlisted applicants. In the next step, applicants will appear for the certificate document verification. The seats will be allotted as per the merit of the candidates. Make the payment of the course fee and secure your seat.
