CUET 2022: Christ Deemed to be University has started the Christ University admission procedure in December. It aims at opening options for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university. The programmes offered include Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, Law, Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Sciences. CUET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

Christ University follows the set pattern of the eligibility criteria for providing admission to the candidates and details about the course wise eligibility is here:

B.Tech:

  • Candidates must have cleared class XII from Karnataka ISC/CBSE/PUC/ NIOS/State Boards with a minimum of 50% marks in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • It is mandatory to attain at least 50% marks in Mathematics in class XII.

Lateral Entry Eligibility for B.Tech:

Those who have done a 3-year diploma in Engineering may apply for lateral entry into Engineering programmes.

B.B.A:

  • Candidate must have completed 12th (Karnataka CBSE/NIOS/ PUC/ISC/State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management) from some recognized board.
  • Those who are appearing in XII in March-May 2021 can also apply using their percentage achieved in classes X and XI.

B.Com:

  • The applicant must have completed class 12th from a recognized university to apply for B.Com

Law:

  • To apply for Law, the candidate must have completed 12th from Karnataka ISC/CBSE/NIOS/PUC//State Boards with at least 45% in the stream such as (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences).
  • If the candidate wishes to apply for class 12th according to the Christ University Law eligibility criteria they can do so.

B.H.M.:

  • Appearing in XII may also apply by showing the marks acquired in class X and XI.
  • The applicant must have completed class XII in any of the streams Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences from a recognized board to appear in the entrance test of B.H.M.
  • Besides this, the candidate must have passed XII from Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards in any streams such as Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences via recognized Board.
  • If the applicant is pursuing the International Curriculum then make sure to follow the eligibility of AIU.
  • Those who are pursuing IB curriculum must have obtained 3HL and 3 SL with 24 credits
  • And if pursuing GCE/Edexcel must have obtained 3 A levels with a grade not less than C

B.C.A.:

To apply for the B.C.A. entrance test, the applicant must have completed class XII. If appearing in class XII then also you can apply by showing the marks of class X and XI.

CEP:

  • If you are interested to apply for the CEP entrance test, then it is mandatory to have completed 10+2 or +2 level ( from Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any of the streams such as Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce & Management, Sciences, from some recognized board.
  • Those who are appearing in class XII are also eligible to apply for the test.
  • If you are pursuing an International curriculum then you must have the Association of Indian Universities’ approval.

B.A. Journalism:

  • If you are willing to apply for B.A. Journalism then you must have done class XII from a recognized board in India, such as Karnataka CBSE / PUC / ISC / NIOS / State Boards. Those who are pursuing their class XII can also apply for the entrance test.

CUET 2022 Application Process:

The application process for Christ University will begin in October. Candidates can apply via online/offline mode. To apply for the entrance test, first register for the test by using details such as name, email address, and other personal details. Also, add the qualification details in the application form. Submit the registration fee of Rs 5000 via modes such as Credit / Debit Card / Net banking or DD. It is also important to keep the mark sheet of classes X, XI, and XII ready to fill the entrance test.

Online:

  • First, visit the official website and choose the course for which you want to apply.
  • Fill in all the details carefully and correctly
  • Now, scan and upload the latest passport size photograph
  • Those who are applying for the entrance test will submit the application
  • Submit the application form after paying the application fee
  • Candidates will then receive the application number.
  • Make sure to seek the print of the application form

Send the application form in an A4 envelope within a week of submitting the form. Check the documents to be submitted along with the application form:

  • Original filled-in printed application signed by the candidate and parent/guardian as well.
  • Two latest passport size photos
  • Fee online payment acknowledgment slip
  • Migration Certificate
  • Marksheets of Class X, XI, and XII.
  • NATA and JEE score to apply for B.Arch courses.
  • NRI/PIO/OCI/SAARC/Africa/ASEAN/Other foreign nationals will submit a copy of passport and Visa details along with the copy of PIO or OCI

Send the application via Registered Post/Courier Service or personally in the University.

Direct Mode:

Those who are applying via direct mode will fill the application using online mode. For this process, buy the application form via Christ University’s admission office. You can also click the ‘Admissions’ >> ‘Application Status’. Now, go to the confirmation page and click ‘Applications’ >> select the programme. And then choose the offline application and enter the application number along with the receipt number.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee will be ₹ 1000 for Male, Transgender, Female applicants both for online and offline mode.

B.A. CEP:

  • The candidate will get 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the test
  • The candidate will score 1 mark for every correct answer and will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for wrong answers

B.B.A:

  • The entrance test of B.B.A in Christ University will take place for 120 minutes
  • The Paper will contain120 questions for 120 marks
  • The candidate will receive 1 mark for every correct answer and there will be a deduction of -0.25 mark for an incorrect answer.

Marks Distribution:

  • English Language, Comprehension Skills, Verbal Reasoning – 25 questions for 25 marks
  • General Knowledge, Current Affairs – 20 questions for 20 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude, Number Ability, Fundamental mathematical Operations – 20 questions for 20 marks
  • Reasoning: Logical, Analytical, and Critical – 25 questions for 25 marks
  • Data Analysis and Data Interpretation – 20 questions for 20 marks
  • Fundamental Accounting – 10 questions for 10 marks

In addition to the written test, there will also be Micro-Presentation for 90 sec. After that, the candidate will go through a personal interview in which candidates will be asked questions about family, course, and academics.

Law:

Christ University Law entrance test will be commenced in the offline mode. The Paper consisted of 120 questions for 120 minutes. The candidate will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer and a deduction of 0.25 marks on every correct answer.

  • English Language, Comprehension Skills, and Verbal Reasoning consisted of 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • General Knowledge, Current Affairs consisted of 25 questions for 25marks.

Admit Card:

After successfully submitting the application form, candidates will get the admit card from the official website of Christ University. The admit card consisted of important information about the candidate’s details, exam related information such as exam day/date/time. Take the print of the admit card so that you can carry it to the examination center. Along with this, carry the relevant ID proof as well.

Exam Result:

The entrance test result of Christ University will be announced via online mode. Once the results are announced, the candidate will go through the different rounds of the selection procedure. Log in to the website by using your email ID and password so that you can check the result. The result provides the comprises of the marks obtained in Written Exam, Micro Presentations, and the Personal Interview.
