IBPS Common Written Exam for Probationary Officer (PO):

CWE is the Common Written Examination commenced by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). This test is a pre-requisite to select the personnel on the post of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee posts in various Public Sector Banks. IBPS takes responsibility for arranging and conducting examination. It further shortlist the candidates for next round i.e. Interview round. Interviews will be commenced by the participating organizations and coordinated by Nodal Bank in each state/ Union Territory with IBPS.

State Bank of India Probationary Officer:

A well-known and an oldest State Bank of India is known for commencing the banking examinations for posts such as Probationary Officers. The exam structure includes written test which will be Phase I of the selection procedure for recruiting the Probationary Officers. The examination will be divided into two parts – Part A and Part B. Part A includes Objective Type Questions while Part B is a Descriptive Exam.

Private Banks

For instance ICICI Bank commences full time residential training programme at ICICI Manipal Academy campus, Bangalore. The candidates joining the Probationary Officer Training Programme will be further enrolled for MBA in Banking and Finance with Manipal University.

IBPS Common Written Exam for Clerical Recruitment for PSUs:

Common Written Examination (CWE Clerk-IIV) is a prerequisite exam for selecting the personnel for Clerical cadre posts. The posts are given in the Public Sector Banks and the exam will be commenced by IBPS in November/ December. The shortlisted candidates will appear for interview commenced by various Participating Organizations which is co-ordinated by IBPS. The shortlisted candidates will be given the Participating Organizations.

State Bank of India Clerical Recruitments:

State Bank of India commences a test for recruiting the Indian candidates for appointing to the Clerical Cadre posts in its bank. Candidates can apply via online mode using the bank’s website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. The candidates will be selected based on the performance in written exam and interview. The written test includes Objective type Questions from General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.

Common Written Exam for Regional Rural Banks:

CWE or Common Written Examination conducts for recruiting the Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). After this, the other Common Written Examination for RRBs (RRBs CWE-III) for recruiting Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) commenced the examination in the online mode by IBPS.

Common Written Exam for Specialist Officer:

Yet another CWE or Common Written Examination is commenced for recruiting Specialist Officers in Public Sector Banks under IBPS for different posts. These posts include Marketing Officer, Law officer, HR Officer, IT Officer, etc.
