MAH B.P.Ed CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has laid down the eligibility criteria to take the Common Entrance Test for admission to the B.P.Ed program. Candidates seeking admission to the program must meet the requirements stated below:

  • The candidate must be a Citizen of India.
  • Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks. No specific specialization is asked in the Bachelor’s program. Candidates from all backgrounds are eligible to apply for the program provided they have minimum marks.
  • Candidates must have a certificate of participation in any sports at the National Level/State Level/District Level/Inter-College Level.
  • Candidates who have taken up the qualifying examination and have qualified for the B.P.Ed will be eligible to fill the Admission Form in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2023.

Exam Pattern:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the Exam Pattern on its official website once the application forms are out. However, as per the previous Exam Pattern, there would be three sections in the examination paper.

  • The question paper will have will be Objective Multiple Choice Questions only.
  • Each question would carry 1 mark each, and there would be no negative marking for the wrong answer. Candidates are required to submit the paper in an hour.
  • The question paper would be in three languages – English, Marathi, and Hindi. Thus, students having a background in these languages would be able to attempt the paper.
