Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status requirement laid by the exam conducting authority.

Eligibility for Lower Primary Level: (Class I – V):

  • It is important that candidates must have completed Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Two-year diploma in education (D.El.Ed) / 2-year diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Candidate must be possessed with the degree of graduation with at least 50% marks and B.ED qualified candidates may also apply for the exam.

Eligibility for Upper Primary Level: (Class VI-VIII):

  • Candidates must have successfully cleared Graduation BA or B.Sc with at least 50% marks and also must have done B.Ed from some recognized University.

OR

  • Those who are appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / B.A. (Ed.)/  B.Ed B.Sc. (Ed.), (Special Education) with at least 50% marks in BA/ B.Sc may apply.
  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 21 years as of January 2022 and the maximum age should be   35 years. Those who belong to the reserved category (SC/ST/PH) may get 5% age relaxation.

Manipur TET Application Fee:

  • General Category candidates will pay Rs 500/- for Papers I or II and Rs 800/- for both the Papers I & II.
  • SC/ST Category candidates will pay Rs 250/- for Papers I or II and Rs 400/- for both the Papers I & II.
  • Make application fee payment fees via net banking, debit/credit card.
  • You can make payment via offline mode as well.

Manipur TET 2022 Online Application Form Details:

  • To apply for Manipur TET 2022 get the application form from the Board of Secondary Education, Government of Manipur via online mode using the official website.
  • Application Form will be provided in the month of November 2022.
  • Go to the official website, go to the Home tab, and check the “Apply Online” link and Click.
  • Make a payment of the Application fee via TS Online or Net Banking or Credit / Debit Cards.
  • Fill all the details in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned documents of the photograph and signature in JPG format.
  • The image of the photograph and signature must be scanned in the prescribed format.
  • After uploading the documents, choose the test centre. Applicants can select two test centers, primary and secondary.
  • There will be proviso of the correction of the Manipur TET application form via online mode.
  • Make sure to check the details you entered and then select the Submit button.
  • Take a printout of the application form for further reference.

Exam Pattern:

  • The exam will take place in the online mode (Computer-based Test) mode.
  • Paper will be for 2 Hours 30 Minutes
  • Paper will have Objective type questions.
  • The Question paper will have 150 questions only.
  • The candidate will get 1 mark for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.

Paper-I:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Language II (English) will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks.

Paper-II:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Language II (English) will have 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies will have 60 questions for 60 marks.

Exam Syllabus:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will consist of topics such as Understanding Learning, Development Of Child, Pedagogical Concerns
  • The language I will consist of Hindi language
  • Language II will be for the English Language.
  • Mathematics will have topics such as Number System, Arithmetic, Sets, Algebra, Geometry, Menstruation, and Data Handling
  • Environmental Studies will have topics such as My Family, Our Body – Health – Cleanliness, Work & Play, Our country (India), Our Food, Shelter, Indian constitution, Earth and Sky, Air, Water, Plants and Animals, Our State (Manipur), History and Culture of India

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in the following given sections. Those who successfully clear the following sections will be appointed as teachers in Government primary schools (I to V classes) and higher primary schools (VI to VII classes)

  • The candidate will be examined in both divisions and both paper
  • They need to clear both the papers separately.
  • Paper-I will consist of the primary teacher (class I to V) and those candidates who want to teach for classes I to V may apply.
  • Paper-II will be for those who want to teach classes from VI to VIII.

Admit Card:

Collect the admit card from the online mode using the official website of Manipur TET Conducting Authority. The admit card can be attained in the month of March.  Download the Admit Card by entering details such as Registration Number and Date of Birth. Before you download, check the details mentioned in the card and then download the Manipur TET 2022 Admit Card. In case you come across any issues in the card, report to the exam conducting Authority.

The process to Download Manipur TET Admit Card:

  1. Go to the official website.
  2. Download Manipur TET Admit Card and ‘Click’ on it.
  3. Enter Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Click the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. You will find Admit Card on screen. Download it
  6. Take a print of the admit card.
