  • For seeking admission to the school, applicants need to write an application addressing the Principal at least a few months prior before which admission can take place and must have appended a stamped, addressed envelope for attaining reply. Those who apply late will not be entertained. There will be proviso like registration a year or more in advance for existing in this college.
  • The selection test takes place only for two new Classes each year – Class 1, (Day Scholars only) and Class 3 (Boarders and Day Scholars). In case of some vacancies due to unforeseen withdrawals, the principal may allow the admission of new students based on the performance in the academic year. However, a child’s performance in the selection test conducted by the school matters a lot regarding admission.
  • The Principal has complete power to provide admission or to refuse admission to any scholar at his discretion and to request the withdrawal of any scholar.
  • When a scholar is chosen for admission, then it becomes the responsibility of the parents to pay all the dues before the school reopens. In case, it is not being done without notice or fails to arrive within three days then the scholar will be will not be given any right to admission.
  • Scholars seeking admission through the intervention of influential persons or via some other sources believed to be on friendly terms with members of the College Staff or Management will not be entertained.
  • Admission to boys to class IX or X will not be granted.
  • Boys will not be permitted to come to school with costly watches, mobile phones, cameras, etc.
  • The scholar should have their Birth Registration Certificate, Transfer Certificate from the last school and Baptism Certificate (if needed). In case of the unavailability of these documents, the scholar will be refused to seek admission and the entire fee will not be refundable.
  • Scholars must be available to college for the full year. There will be vacancies for latecomers. Also, no leave will be granted prior the official closing date. No fee will be reduced for any period or period of absence in the entire year.

  • School fees should be paid on time by parents.
  • The fee does not include charges for textbooks, stationary, shoe repairs, extra diet, breakages, club membership, medicines, tonics, etc.
  • The payment for boarders needs to be made by DD to Punjab National Bank, Nainital. a/c St. Joseph’s College, Nainital, under intimation to the Principal. You cannot pay the fee via sources such as money orders cheques, cash demand drafts, etc.
  • Boarders will pay the yearly fee either in one installment for the entire year, payable by15 March or in two equal installments, the first payable by 15 March and another by 15 June.
