TS PGECET 2023TS PGECET 2023: The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test or the TS PGECET is conducted by the Osmania University. Hyderabad. This examination is conducted by this University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The candidates who would be shortlisted will get admission to the regular courses in Technology, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Graduate Level Pharm D.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidates who are interested to apply for the M.Arch, must qualify for B.Arch or equivalent degree from a recognized university or from any recognized board.
  • Candidates who are interested to apply for the B.E./B.Tech Degree will be eligible for the examination.
  • The candidates who are interested to apply for the M.Pharmacy need a 3-year B.Pharm degree in order to be eligible for the examination.
  • The candidates need to be a citizen of India.
  • It is necessary for the candidates to satisfy either the local or the non-local domicile necessities.
  • The candidates will have to belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
  • It is necessary for the candidate to score a minimum of 50% marks and 40% marks for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category in the qualifying examination.

TS PGECET 2023 Application Form:

The candidates who are applying for the TS PGECET examination have to first get themselves registered. For this, they will have to fill up the application form that is there on the official website. The only way to fill up and submit the application form is online.

It is important that the candidates submit the application form within the given deadline. The candidates will thus be able to fill up the application form without any hassles. After filling up the application form, the candidate will also have to make the payment. The candidates will have to use the reference id to start filling up the form.

In order to fill up the application form the candidates will have to follow the steps that have been mentioned below:

  • The candidate will have to first visit the official website and there you will have to click on the Home Page.
  • Here, you will have to go to the option that says, “Fill Application Form” section that is already mentioned under the Application column of the page. Then you will have to click on it.
  • Here you will have to enter the Reference ID, the Hall ticket number in the last qualifying examination, the mobile number, and the date of birth.
  • Once you enter the information correctly, you will have to click on the option, Proceed to Fill Application and then start filling up the form.
  • You will now have to enter the correct educational as well as the personal details that have been asked in the application form.
  • You will have to click on the Submit button once you recheck the form.
  • In order to take a print of the application form, you will have to click on the option that says “Print your filled in Application form. To get a copy of the form you will have to fill in the details.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee for the General candidates will be Rs. 1000/-.
  • The candidates belonging to the SC/ST will have to pay Rs.500/-.
  • The candidates will be able to make the payment online using the credit or debit card, net banking, TS online, or AP online.

Syllabus:

The candidates will have to prepare for the test keeping the syllabus in mind. The candidates will have to prepare and cover each and every topic given in the syllabus. The syllabus for each of the courses is different. The official syllabus for all the courses will be released by Osmania University under the TS PGECET.

Exam Pattern:

  • The mode of the examination is online.
  • The total duration of the examination is for 2 hours.
  • The examination will be conducted in the English language only.
  • The candidates will have to answer multiple-choice questions.
  • There will be a total of 120 questions that will have to be answered.
  • The paper will be conducted once in the morning and once in the evening.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released only online. You can download the admit card through the official website. In order to download the admit card, the candidate will have to provide the login details. This is the most important document that you will carry with you on the day of the examination. The candidates have to carry a Government id proof along with the admit card. The candidates should be there in the examination hall at least 60 minutes before the start of the examination.

The details that will be there in the admit card are:

  • Category
  • Candidates name
  • Father’s name
  • Photograph
  • Exam center venue
  • Roll Number
  • Date of Birth (D. O. B)
  • Exam date & time

Result:

The results are declared in the form of the rank card. To check the scores, the candidates will have to visit the official website. In order to download the admit card, you will have to follow the steps below:

  • You will first have to visit the official website.
  • After that, you need to click on the Results and the Web Counseling link.
  • Now, you will just have to enter the hall ticket number.
  • Now you need to check the percentile and the rank that you got in the entrance examination.
  • Now you will have to download and then take a print of the tank card. This will be required at the time of admission and the counseling procedure.

Merit List:

There will also be a separate merit list prepared on the basis of the marks obtained.

Answer Key:

The candidates can download the answer key in PDF format from the official website. The candidate will be able to download the answer key for each of the subjects separately. The answers will be available section wise. This will help the candidates to calculate the expected marks for this examination. The candidates will also be able to calculate the rank that they might get.

If the candidates find that there are certain wrong or contradictory answers marked in the answer sheet, they can challenge the answer sheet. The candidates can raise the challenge against Osmania University. This can be done only after the date for raiding the objection has been announced.
