VOCLET 2024: VOCLET 2024 exam is a state-level entrance exam for candidates who are seeking admission to polytechnic courses in West Bengal through lateral entry. Candidates who took the WB Vocational Education Board’s 10+2 exam are eligible to take the exam. For applicants looking to enroll in several West Bengali polytechnic colleges and institutions, the VOCLET is the only exam through which admission is offered.
West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development is the conducting authority of the VOCELT 2024 exam. The VOCLET application forms are released on the official website of the conducting body. Candidates must make sure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The application forms are released only in online mode.

- Visit the official website of VOCLET.
- Click on the New Registration.
- Register yourself with an email ID and password.
- Login with registered details.
- Fill out the application form with personal and educational details.
- Upload the previous marksheet and other required documents.
- Upload the scanned passport-size photograph.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit the application form.
Upon filing the application form, candidates will receive the application number which they have to save for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria:
VOCLET eligibility criteria is necessary to fulfill for any candidate who wishes to appear for the exam. Below are the eligibility criteria that candidates must ensure they fulfill for applying for the exam:
- Candidates must have passed or appeared for the 10+2 examination from the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education &Skill Development
- Candidates who have completed 2-year ITI course are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam
- Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subjects are also eligible to take the VOCLET exam
- There is no age limit and no restrictions on the number of attempts.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
The VOCLET exam pattern & syllabus is decided by the conducting authority. The body will update regarding the changes in the pattern, if any, a few months before the exam. Candidates preparing to appear for the exam must have prerequisite knowledge of the VOCLET exam pattern & syllabus to score well in the examination.
- The exam paper includes 5 sections: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Applications, and Fundamentals of Mechanics.
- Each section carries a weight of 20 marks.
- The questions will be in MCQ format.
- There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
- The questions will be asked in English and Bengali language.

Admit Card
VOCLET 2024 admit cards will be released online after the application process ends. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to download their admit cards. The steps to download admit cards are as follows:
- Go to the official website of VOCLET.
- Click the Admit Card link.
- Enter your application number and other credentials.
- The admit card will appear on the screen of the candidate.
- Download and save the admit card.
- Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.
VOCLET 2024 Result & Counselling
Once the exams have been successfully completed, the council will present a combined VOCLET 2022 Merit List. The results will be made available on webscte.ac.in. There won’t be any form of notification sent to the contestant. Candidates are required to independently examine the official websites.
The council does not offer a mechanism for raising any concerns about the VOCLET Results. The council will provide VOCLET counseling, and all the information will be made available on the internet. The candidates’ admission will be revoked if they fail to provide any required documentation. Only 10% of the total intake would be allowed for lateral entrance.
