UP Scholarship Scheme 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for Uttar Pradesh Scholarship 2024, Check the eligibility details below:

  • The students must be in the domicile of Uttar Pradesh
  • The students must be studying in the college/school or university of Uttar Pradesh state
  • Besides this, the School/College of a student must be registered on the UP scholarship portal.

Academic Qualification:

  • Post-Matric Scholarship – Students must be studying in class XI or XII.
  • For Post-matric Scholarship (Other than 11th and 12th) – The student must be in graduation or post-graduation course of some recognized University/College.
  • For Pre-matric Scholarship: The student must be studying in class IX or XII.

Category Required:

  • Christian, Sikh, Bodh, Muslim, Parsi, and Jain: Minority category
  • SC, ST, OBC, and General: Apply for this scholarship.

Minimum Income to apply for Scholarship:

  • For post-matric scholarship, the family’s annual income should equal to or less than Rs. 2 lakh
  • The student’s family’s annual income should be less than Rs. 1 lakh to apply for the UP Pre-Matric scholarship.

Those who are eligible for UP Scholarship Scheme 2024 may apply for scholarships via the online process scholarship.up.gov.in. Here are the steps to apply for the scholarship for UP Pre-matric and post-matric scholarship.

Online Registration:

  1. First, go to the official website scholarship.up.gov.in
  2. Then go to the ‘Menu’ option and click on the link of ‘Student’. You can register for a fresh scholarship.
  3. Go to the link to apply for the scholarship and enter all the details asked.
  4. Create the password correctly and then submit the form
  5. Make sure to note down the application number generated on the screen for further needs.

UP Scholarship 2024 Login:

  1. Once the Registration is over, go to the Homepage of the official website.
  2. Now, open UP Scholarship 2024 login.
  3. Select the type of fresh scholarship and open the relevant link.
  4. Enter the registration number, date of birth, and password.
  5. Lastly, enter the Captcha and done.

Filling the Application Form:

  1. Once you log in, go to the link of the application form, enter the details as asked: and enter educational, personal, caste, and income details, bank details, current school/college fee, and last year’s education information.
  2. After this step is over, click on the ‘Update’ button and save the details. A message will appear on your screen

Photo Upload:

  • Once the form is filled, log out and re-login to upload a student’s photograph.
  • Make sure that the size of the photo should be less than or equal to 20 KB in JPEG/JPG format.

Print of Application Form:

  • Take the print of the application form.

Form Submission at School/College:

  • Attach the documents with the printed application form.
  • Submit the filled-in application form to the concerned authority of the respective school/College.
  • After examining the details in the application form and documents, things will proceed further.

How to Apply for UP Scholarship Renewal 2024?

Besides, applying for the scholarship, students can renew the previous scholarship, and here are the steps for the same:

  • First, go to the homepage and click on the registration link.
  • Now, click on the relevant link for renewal and enter the required details.
  • Go to the renewal UP scholarship login page to log in.
  • Fill the application form and enter the last year’s scholarship details along with the previous educational information.
  • Now, upload the passport size photo and take a print of the form.
  • Submit the application form at the respective school/College.
