UPSC Geo-Scientist Exam 2022 Application Form:
The Application Form for the Combined Geo-Scientist 2022 has been available from 22nd September 2021. Candidates can apply for the application through online mode from the official website. Candidates can follow the given below steps to fill the Application Form:
- Visit the official website www.upsc.gov.in which is from UPSC
- Once the site is visited, move onto the “What’s New” section available on the homepage.
- Press the link comprised of Combined GEO-Scientist And Geologist Examination Notification.
- Choose the option ‘Press here’. Now, fill in important details mentioned in the Part 1 registration.
- Ensure to upload a scanned passport-size photo along with a digital signature within the space available in the form.
- Press the “Continue” button so that details that you have filled in will get saved.
- Next, make sure to fill the part 2 Registration form.
- Fill in all the crucial details which are the relevant formality to appear in the exam.
- Lastly, press “Submit”

Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen or else refugee from Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibet arrived in India before 1-1-1962. Or the candidate must be of Indian origin migrated from East African countries, Pakistan, Burma, or Sri Lanka
- Qualification: Candidate must have done with the post-graduation from some recognized University or institution.
- Age Limit: Age criteria considered as per the norms of UPSC.
- Application Charges: the Application fee is the main needful which can be done not various ways like depositing cash or as Challan. There is not any such policy under which the candidate will be refunded back.
- Recruitment Process: Entire recruitment process based on marks that the candidate must have scored. Thus, one has to go through an interview and personality tests after the shortlist. Selection process based on the interview

UPSC Geo-Scientist 2022 Exam Pattern:
Here candidates check the details of the UPSC Combined GEO-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2022 Exam Pattern. Before preparation for this exam just read the below steps:
- Stage 1: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination (Computer Based Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for Stage-II. The Prelims exam will be of 400 Marks.
- Stage 2: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination (Descriptive Type Papers); and it will be 600 Marks.
- Stage 3: The 3rd stage will be Personality Test & it will be of 200 Marks
Preliminary Exam Pattern:
- The Preliminary exam is conducted by online mode i.e, (Computer Based Test).
- The prelims exam consists of MCQ types of questions.
- There will be negative marking in the exam

The UPSC Geo-Scientist 2022 Admit Card has been released separately for the Prelims & Mains exam. The prelims Admit card has been released in December & the Mains Exam Admit Card has been released in September. Candidates have to download the Admit card & take the printout of it.
Steps To Download UPSC Geo-Scientist Admit Card 2022:
- Visit the official site of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) @ upsc.gov.in.
- Then, on the homepage check the section ‘What’s New’
- Then click on the link of UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2022 Admit Card.
- A new page will open and click on ‘Download e-Admit Card’
- Then an instructions page will open & read the instructions
- Click on ‘Yes’
- Then log in by registration Id 0r by roll number.
- Then fill the details & click on the Submit button
- Download the Admit card & Take out the printed copy of it for further usage.
UPSC GEOSCIENTIST 2022 Result:
UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist 2022 Result will be released separately on the official website of UPSC. The candidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible for the main exam. The candidates who clear the main exam are eligible to appear in the personal interview.
