SAAT 2023SAAT 2023: SAAT stands for Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test. SAAT 2023 is a state-level examination that is conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University every year to offer admission to students in various Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses, but not in medical and dental courses for which it conducts a separate exam. The SAAT entrance exam is organized on a national level in almost 40 cities across the country with, give or take, 62 centers. SAAT 2023 Application Form:

While filling the SAAT 2023 Applications Form, students must be very careful about filling in all the details and the subject. Candidates must also keep in check the following things:

  • The application form will be available via online mode only.
  • Candidates must keep their recent scanned passport size photograph and signature ready.
  • The application forms will be made available on the official website from February 2023. However, this is just an approximation, so the students must check the site frequently for precise information on the availability of the forms.
  • After cautiously filling the form, all the applicants must download the filled in/ completed/ submitted application form, and also keep a printed copy of it ready for any future use.
  • After the application form process is completed and submitted, an affirmation slip will be sent to the candidate’s e-mail and phone via SMS. The candidate must not delete any of these in any circumstances.

Steps to Apply for SAAT 2023 Application Form:

  • Visit the official website of SAAT.
  • On the Homepage click on “ Apply for Admission Through SAAT 2023
  • Now a new page will open and click on “ SAAT 2023 Application Form
  • Fill in details in the application form including nationality, gender, name, date of birth, category, exam center, address, etc.
  • After filling in these details upload your recent passport size photograph in the application form.
  • Click on the submit button.

Eligibility Criteria:

Before filling the application form, the candidate must thoroughly go through the conditions for eligibility to sit for the exam because different courses have different criteria. So, to avoid any further trouble, the candidate must check if he/she is eligible to apply for the exam.

  • First of all, to get admission in Graduation/Bachelor’s degree courses, candidates must have qualified senior secondary examination (10+2 or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidates from the reserved category will have relaxation in marks, for them a minimum of 45% marks are necessary for senior secondary examinations.
  • Also, the candidate pursuing a bachelor’s degree the student must have studied the subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at a senior secondary level.
  • Applicants who wish to pursue courses related to the medical field/ area must have studied Biology as a subject at the senior secondary level.
  • For admission in the Master’s degree program, the candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with no less than 50% of marks.
  • However, for reserved categories students, 45% of marks at graduation level are mandatory.
  • The candidates, who wish to take admission in M.Tech and have qualified GATE 2023, will be relieved from the SAAT 2023 entrance exam; but it will be necessary for them to fill and submit the SAAT Application form.
  • For candidates applying for the course of M.Pharm –if the candidate has qualified GPAT 2023, then he/she will be exempted from the examination, though they will be required to submit the SAAT 2023 Application Form.

Exam Pattern:

There will not be much difference in the exam pattern of the SAAT entrance exam.

  • Mode: The entrance examination will be conducted by the University through online mode only.
  • Type: The question paper will be the Objective type, carrying multiple-choice questions.
  • Questions: The question paper will be comprised of 120 questions in total.
  • Duration: The Exam duration will be 3 hours.
  • Marking scheme: For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks each, but 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Language: The question paper will only be made available in the English

SAAT Syllabus:

Since there are many courses; there will be a different syllabus for each course. But, students must have a basic knowledge of English, and what all they have studied so far.

Admit Card:

Admit card is issued by the University to all the eligible registered applicants. Candidates will be able to get (download) their admit card from the official website of the University, approximately from April 2023 or 10 days before the SAAT entrance exam, Admit Card will be made available on the website.

Candidates will not be allowed to enter and sit in the SAAT Entrance examination without the admission ticket, that is, admit card. The candidates must also read the instruction on the admit card or University website to avoid any trouble while appearing in the entrance examination.

Result:

SAAT Result 2023 will be released on the official website of the university most likely from May 2023. After the results are announced, the University will arrange a merit list of the candidates for counseling. The process of counseling will begin possibly from June 2023. Selected candidates will get the letter to attend the counseling to get admission into various Bachelors/Masters’s courses offered by the university.
