SPMVV PGCET 2023: SPMVV PGCET is a well-known entrance examination for admission to the PG courses. This state-level test provides admission to Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are required to clear the qualifying examination given by the exam conducting authority. Admission is provided to female applicants only and there will be no entrance test for courses such as Integrated M.Sc, Masters in Fine Arts, B.Vocational and PG Diploma courses in the University.   • The courses where admission is based on degrees the required percentage in the group subjects should be 40%, 45%, 50% of marks.
  • For M.Ed., the applicant must have attained the aggregate marks of 50% in B.Ed. and PG, 45%.
  • It is mandatory to qualify for the corresponding Bachelor’s degree exam for SC/ST candidates to acquire admission in more than one course.
  • Those who have appeared in the final year may also apply for the test.
  • Supplementary applicants of 2021 will be not considered eligible to apply.

Eligibility for Direct Admission:

M.Sc. (all Courses)

  • Candidate must have completed B.Sc. with Chemistry/ Biochemistry and anyone Biology subject (Botany/Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Nutrition/ Medical Lab Technology/ Dairy Science) with minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate

M.A. Economics:

  • Applicant must be a graduate with 45% in Arts and 50% in Science subjects in groups. They should have studied a minimum of one of the following subjects in their Undergraduate courses such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accountancy, and Computer Science

M.Ed.:

  • Those who have completed B.Ed/B.Ed. Spl degree course from the recognized university UGC with at least 50% marks

M.A. English:

  • Applicant must be a graduate with a minimum 45% in Special English/General English

M.Sc. Home Science Food & Nutrition Science:

  • An applicant must have done B.Sc. Home Science, General B.Sc. with Nutrition as one paper, B.Sc. Applied Nutrition, B.Sc. Nursing, General B.Sc. with minimum 50% marks in groups

M.Sc. Applied Mathematics:

  • An applicant must have completed B.A/B.Sc., with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects

M.C.J. / M.A. Public Relations:

  • To apply for this course, the minimum eligibility is graduation with 45% on the aggregate

M.A. Music (Vocal) (Veena):

  • Candidate must have attained the recognized Degree with Vocal Music or Veena Music as one of the main subjects

Or

  • any recognized Degree with diploma/Certificate in Veena Music, Vocal Music or equivalent

  • Recognized Degree with grading in Vocal or Veena in classical Music Audition board of All India Radio

M.A.Music (Bharatanatyam):

  • Candidate must be a graduate with Natya Visarada /Govt certificate/Diploma /Praveena /equivalent/Oriental title Degree /Doordarshan or B-Grade /Systematic training guru and performance in the interview of SPMVV or The degree of graduation in Dance.

Master of Social Work:

  • Applicant must be a graduate with a minimum of 45% in groups

M.A. Telugu language, Literature & Translation:

  • The candidate must be a graduate with a minimum of 40% in general Telugu and preference will be given to SPL. Telugu, BAOL/Sastri

M.Com:

  • Applicant must have acquired a degree of graduation in B.Com or B.A with Accountancy, Statistics and Mathematics / Commerce/ Economics/ Computer Applications with at least 40% marks.

Education Spl. (H.I):

  • The minimum qualification should be B.A/B.Sc/B.Com or Any Equivalent Degree at the Graduate level depending on the requirements of the school subject for pedogeological courses and for a specific courses with at least 50% in the qualifying degree exam

M.Vocational Fashion Technology and Apparel Designing:

  • To apply for this course, an applicant must have completed B.Voc FTAD/ B.Sc. Textiles and Clothing (Home Science)/ B.A or B.Sc.in Fashion Aided Designing/ Garment Technology/ B.Tech. Textiles with at least 45% marks in Groups

M.Vocational Nutrition & Health Care Sciences:

  • The minimum eligibility is B.Voc. Nutrition and Health Care Sciences/B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics/B.Sc. Chemistry, Biochemistry and Clinical Nutrition(CBCN) / B.Sc. Nursing/B.Physiotherapy (BPT) / B.Pharmacy/ Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Management/ B.Sc. Public Health with 45% aggregate in Groups

Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern is the most thing candidate should be aware of. Here are the details about the examination pattern:

  • Exam will be commenced in the offline mode
  • Paper will take place in English and Telugu languages.
  • Paper will have multiple-choice questions.
  • Candidate needs to complete paper in 90 Minutes
  • There will be 100 questions in the paper.
  • Each question will be for 1 mark and there will be no negative marking

Download the result from the official website spmvvdoa.in. It is mandatory to secure at least 25 marks to clear the test. However, there will be no marks restriction for SC/ST category applicants. There will be no proviso for the Revaluation/Personal Identification of the answer sheet.

Counselling Process:

After the result announcement, the counseling will take place at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati. Pay the Counselling Fee Rs 400 (Rs 250 for SC/ST) and submit the following documents:

  • Transfer and Conduct certificates
  • SSC and Intermediate pass certificates
  • 6 latest Passport size photographs
  • SPMVVPGCET 2023 Rank Card and Hall Ticket
  • Marks statements
  • Provisional/Degree Certificate of the qualifying exam
  • Study certificates from IX class to the qualifying examination
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Caste certificate
